Autumn Sunset Scene Slimline Card

 Hi all Copic friends,
The summer is slowly coming to an end and I get in the Autumn colours mood..
What about you? Do you love all those warm colours like me?
The Copic family YR (yellow red) and the Copic Family E (earth tones) are just perfect.

Today I would like to show you my new slimline card in autumn colours of course using the pretty digital stamp called "Autumn" from Sweet November stamps.

I have printed the digital image and sentiment onto Perfect Colouring Paper with my printer, and afterwards I have used my slimline die from Mama Elephant to cut the shape.

Time to start colouring

 the skin..the scarf.....the cardigan..the gilet..the trousers..the bag ..the boots..

Of course one could stop at this point as the image is fully coloured but I wanted to create  a background too.

You could use stencils and or stamps to create a background or you can  just draw it yourself. But then you need some inspiration right?

As inspiration I have chosen a photo from my lovely holidays at the lake, it was just a guideline to make some kind of background :).

Ofcourse first I start to draw some lines with light colour ( E 30 ) in this way  I can still add details or slightly change the scene in case I do not like it.

When you use a pencil you should be aware that pencil covered by Copic will not erase that is why  I have decided to colour the scene directly with my Copic.

I know it is a bit scary but once you start it will get better .. and if you really don't like the result you can still fuzzy cut the image and put it onto design paper hi hi .

Please see my short video below of the colouring process of this card..

Here is the final result,
to complete the card I have added two leaves, cut with my I-crafter dies.

The top layer of the leaves was coloured with my Copic and on the green paper I have sprayed some distress mica spray  ..in this way some sparkle was added.

Hope you have enjoyed my post .

Please try to create your own background too, it is fun and as always practice..practice..practice.

Here are the Copic  colours I have used :

Skin : E 00, E 11, E 04, R 20, R 22

Hair : YR 21, E 99, E 19, E 18

Scarf : YR 14, YR 16, YR 09, E 18, E 15

Wryn Rock Slimline Shaker Card

Hi all,

Are you ready for a new post?
Today I am showing my new slimline shaker card with this fun digital stamp from Tiddly Inks, called Wryn the rocker.

I have printed the digi onto Perfect Colouring paper and have started colouring...
inspired by my own little rocker in the house.

Skin : E00, E11, E04, R20, R22

Hair : YR21, YR12, E23, E57, E59

Skirt : B05, B28, B39

Shirt& stockings : BG23, BG49, BG78

Boots : E29, E18, E08

Guitar : E97, E99, N8, N10

The image was ready to be fussy cut ...

Behind the image I have added a rotating mechanism. This die is fun as you do not have anything popping out on the other side

Time to assemble to whole card..
I have cut a piece of white cardstock (17 x 21cm) and scored it on 8.5 cm to create the card base .

The slimline die was cut twice, one time out of special cardstock, and one time out of foam.

I have put a piece of acetate in between ..in this way the shaker was easy to create.
I have passed  a anti static pouch onto the acetate ..just to make sure not everything sticks to the acetate.

Slim postage die : Whimsy
Musical notes : Marianne Design
Letters : I -crafters
Stitched rectangle : MFT
Rotating mechanism : Impronte D'autore

When you move the shaker, the mini pearls and mini musical notes diecuts will move..
And if you touch the coloured image it seems she is a real rocker that moves forward and backwards.

The letters were cut out of blue green foam and black card stock.

Hope you have enjoyed my "rocker" post..see you next post!
Thanks for visiting the blog.

Magic Iris Card with Flowers

Hi all,

March is a month full of birthdays  so today I am sharing a special card I have made for a special friend of mine.

I have fallen in love with the magic iris die...from Lawn Fawn love the wow factor!

And recently  I have bought these flower stamps from Sheena, the die and flower go well together.

First of all I have added EZ mount on the back of the rubberstmap, stamped it with Memento desert sand ink to create a kind of no-line colouring.

To colour the flower I have used :
RV000, RV 91, RV 93, RV 95, RV99

Please see my little video below

After having coloured the flower stamp  I have realised it was a bit too big next to the magic iris die so I have cut a piece. The rest was fussy cut around the image.

I have cut the letters with a die from Marianne Design, first out of purple foam and later also out of perfect colouring paper.

With a V91 marker I have coloured the white letters, to match the flower perfectly. These letters were glued on top of the foam letters in able to create a 3D effect.

When you open the magic iris this text will appear ( in the video you can see it moving )

Hope Stefania will like it and that I have inspired you today, thanks for your visit,

Halloween I Want Candy Mixed Media Lantern

Hello Copic friends,

It is almost Halloween, so I thought it was nice to show a Halloween project.
I have made Halloween cards, tags ...and this mixed media lantern.

While you are reading this post I will be demonstrating Copic colouring mixed with card making and scrapbooking at the Hobbyshow in Rome.
This is one of my projects I have created especially for the show.

For the first time the Canadian brand Kraftin Kimmie  will be shown in Italy and of course it will be possible to buy them! I have picked the super fun clearstamp set called I Want Candy
Great for Halloween projects, but with a little altering this stamp set can be suitable for birthday/toddlers cards too.

To colour these stamps  I have chosen some nice Halloween colour combos
that are also available in the CIAO range.

I have stamped the stamps onto Perfect Colouring Paper and have started colouring..

Here we go let's start coloring!

The little "devil"

The green combo : G 14, G 17, YG 03, YG 23

The purple combo : V 12, V 15, V 17, BV 08

The "witch"

The gray combo : W 3, W 5, W 7

The pumkins;

The orange combo : YR 15, YR 16, YR 07, E 18

After the colouring I have fuzzy cutted the little devil, witch , bats and pumkins.

This time I have not made a card but a lantern!

I have cut the pieces for the lantern out of some heavy Fabriano Murillo black card stock ( 260g) ,
with some wax I gave the metal look. I have added some acetate windows, but before adding them into to cardstock lantern I have used the cobweb stencil and some decoglass volume paste with a spatula to create the spiderweb pattern. It needs some drying time but once dry it looks fab. Isn't that fun?

I have glued my Copic coloured images onto the lantern, and on top I have added some ribbons in orange, black and purple!

Boooooh! Trick or Treat??? A nice piece of home decor for Halloween is ready.

Happy Halloween and for those of you living in Italy near Rome
come  to visit me at stand B45 at the Hobbyshow ( 11-13 October 2019 ).

Inside the lantern I have added a candle with a battery.
Of course not a real candle as it is made  out of paper cardstock.

I have used:
Black cardstock Fabriano Murillo ( 260 g )
Sissix die for the lantern
Ribbons
Heavy acetate
Cobweb Stencil Kraftin Kimmie
I Want Candy clear stamp set Kraftin Kimmie
deco glass volume paste colour Moon dust Ferrario

Copic :
Skin : E 00, E 11, E 02 E 93
Hair witch : E 11, E 18, YR 15, YR 07
Cape devil : V 12, V 15, V 17, BV 08
Suit devil : G 14, G 17, YG 03, YG 23

Bloom

There are quite a few fabulous dies available for making tiny books. So for today's blogpost I have made you one. The background is made with inks. All the images are by Studio Light and they are coloured with Copic Markers.

In the next few photographs I will show you how I have coloured the images with my Copic Markers.

I start with a layer of BG01. Add BG05 and blend the layers together with FBG2 and BG01. For the darker part I have used BG09 and BG07.

Start with the G14. Add some G17 for shading and blend the layers together with G14 and G17.

For the leaves I used YG11. Add YG13 and YG17. Blend the layers together with YG11 and YG13.

For the cute pink flowers I start with RV21. Add some RV23 and RV25. For the darkest shadows I used RV29. Blend all layers together with RV23 and RV21.

This cute toadstool will be violet. Start with V04. Add V05 and V06.  Because this colour is still too violet for my taste (it doesn't fit the background) I add a thin layer of  FRV1. When gluing down the image I noticed that the colour isn't matching the background. So I decided to add another layer of R32.

The next few photographs will show you all the pages in my tiny booklet and all the used Copic colours.

Used colours:  BG01, 05, 07, 09 and FBG2.

Used colours:  G14, 17, 19 and YG11, 13 and 17.

Used colours:  YG11, 13,17, 21,23 and 25.

Used colours:  Y32, 35, 38, 17 and YR07 and 16.

Used colours:  RV21, 23, 25 and 29.

Used colours:  V04, 05, 06, FRV1 and R32.

Used colours:  V01, BV02, 04 08.

The booklet looks nicier when put together, so I have made a little video to show how it looks now:

Wishing you a creative summer,
Miranda

Louna

Hi everybody.

I don't know about you, but, I find I have a few favourite colour combos I use for dark hair.
Copic Markers have a huge number of darker shades in different colours of grey. These look great when used in combination with other colours which are ideal for the coloring of hair.
Especially if you use a white pencil to apply high lights as a finishing touch.

The background is made with a Gelliplate and ARA paint.
The image is from Sakuems - Louna

This sweet girl is of course coloured with Copic Markers.
The colours I've used are:
Skin: E0000 - E000 - E00 - E04 - E11 - E21 and R20
Lips: R02 - R20 - R21
Eyes: B01 - B02 - B04
Hair: 110 - B21 - B26 - C5 - C7 - C9 and with pencil from the brand Stabilo
T-shirt: R46 - R59 - R89 - RV99
Choker: C3 - C5 - C7

Thank you all for reading,

 a BIG hug,
