There are so many great entries!
The winner will be announced on sunday 31th.

Saori Kido as Athena, from Saint Seiya, by Suki Manga Art

Dear Copic friends, today I will show you a fan art of Saori Kido, Athena,
one of the main characters of the series Saint Seiya, created by Masami Kurumada.

Saori is the reincarnation of the goddess Athena. She is the goddess of wisdom, defensive war, strategy, justice and hope.

Saint Seiya is one of my favourite anime/manga since I was a child.

This is my interpretation of Athena made with Copic markers.

 I hope you like it.

Love is all around ;)

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share some love with a CAS card :) I love having hearts on cards, so with Valentine's Day just around the corner, now is the perfect time!

I used one of the adorable Cupids from CC Designs, stamped and die cut with a heart frame die from the CC Designs Cutter Make A Card #12 Smoochies Die. I stamped a second Cupid on another piece of card to colour him with my Copics, then fussy cut it and pasted it on my framed Cupid. I added a sentiment from the Cupids stamp set and used little hearts from the frame, coloured them in Copics and adhered them to the card.

Skin: E000, 00, 11, R20, V20
Hair: E50, 51, 53
White: W0, 1, 3
Black: T5, 7, 9
Red: R35, 37, 39

Thank you very much for your visit, have a great weekend! Love to you all,
Delphine xx

Ships ahoy!

I had a little fun with this one and decided to play around with my airbrush, something I've not done in a while!

Without further ado here is my latest creation for Copic Europe:

The pirate image was coloured separately and then cut out with scissors and a craft blade before being mounted on to the sprayed background.
Whimsy Stamps - Pirate Boy
Sugar Pea - Heart Journal Card Set die
Copic Airbrush
Caran D'Ache Neocolor II crayons
Copics:
Bandana/Shirt - R22, R24, R29, B0000, N0, N1, N2
Waistcoat - E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E49, W2
Trousers - B91, B93, B95, B97, B99, R29, R24
Sword - E21, E23, E25, E27, E29, E49
Hair - E00, E11, E13, E15, E17, E18
Patch - W0, W2, W4, W6, W8
Face - W9, RV32, RV34, W1, W3, E0000, E000, E00, E40, V20, R30, R20, C00, C0, C1
Hook - C1, C3, C5, C7, C9
Background - B01, B02, BG01, BG02, BG05, BG07, BG13, E55

I don't know about you but when I use my airbrush I always seem to end up spraying myself.
I had extremely inky fingers on my left hand where I'd been holding down my masking card - note to self to use more tape next time!
But atleast with my trusty cardboard airbrush booth I can keep my desk nice and clean!
(I cannot remember where I got it, sorry)

I hope this card inspires you all to dust off your airbrushes or go splurge on one and have a go; it really does give you a lovely background to showcase your stamped images and adds another dimension to your Copic colouring!!

Happy Colouring

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

Well, that's Christmas out of the way for another year. And what do we all think about after Christmas? Valentines Day. It'll be here before we know it, so I thought this cute little puppy from Stamping Bella would be perfect to get me warmed up for the season of luuuuurve!

You can't really tell from the photos, but I've coloured this image on cream cardstock, I was pleased with how it came out. Maybe I'll venture onto other colours next...

Blue Fairy ♥

Hi everyone and happy new year from Italy!

Here I am again with a brand new Saturated Canary Card.
It was love at first sight when I saw this fairy and I had a lot of fun colouring her.

I immediately loved her pose and the funny ears!
I wanted to colour her in blue, I love odd colours when we are talking of fairies, so I thought that blue hair would be perfect!

I used delicate papers from Maja Design, a piece of lace and organza rose ribbon; some cheesecloth here and there and my little project is done!

Here is the complete list of Copic Markers I've used:

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11 + R20 for cheeks
Hair: B00, B02, B05, B06, B37, B39
Lips: R81, R85
Outfit/Pink: R81, R83, R85, R89
Outfit/Blue: B000, B00, B02, B05
Background: BV23, 0

Thank you all for reading,
 a huge hug,
Franz.

Diny's Squares Technique

Hi everyone,

Today I have a tutorial for you. A few months ago Diny Sprakel developed a new Copic technique. In the Netherlands we call this technique  the " Squares Technique". We get questions from all over the world about this technique  so we thought it would be a good idea to make a tutorial for you. Allthough we call it the Squares Technique, you can use it on any similar shadow stamp. For this tutorial I used the round shadow stamp by Katzelkraft.

What materials do you need?
1. craftsheet
2. rubber shadow stamp
3. acrylic stamping block
4. a few bright colours by Copic
5. glossy paper
6. activator

Apply quite a few drops of Copic ink on your craftsheet...
Use bright colours for this technique like the 7 and 9 of any colour group.

Spray a little bit of the Activator on the Copic drops.

The spray makes the ink temporarily thinner, more fluid because  the spray reactivates the alcohol in the ink.

Place your stamp gently in the ink.

TIP: When the ink on your stamp does not look wet enough, spray a little Activator directly on your stamp, but only when the ink looks dried.

Place your stamp gently on the glossy paper and transfer the ink to the paper.

Remove the stamp and check out the result...doesn't it look wonderful.

So with a few Copic Markers and a silhouette stamp you can create a simple lovely card.

Copic colours used
Left up: YG09 and BG07
Right up: RV95 - B05 and YG07
Left under: BG07 and RV17
Right under: BV08 and BG49
And the stamps by Katzelkraft

Thank you very much for your visit, have a great day! Hugs,

I almost fell off my unicorn...

A very merry and happy 2016. I wish you all a happy, healthy and creative new year.
I would like to start the new year with this wonderful image by the Digistampatelier. A girl with an unicorn..aren't they the most wonderful creatures you have ever seen? They are unearthy creatures of ethereal beauty, their mysteries enchant us and they safeguard our dreams....you may have stopped believing in unicorns but they never stopped believing in you!!

The background is made with Dylusions paints and stencils and some stencils by Dutch Doobadoo.
I found the quote on the internet and it's handwritten on this page using the Copic Multiliners 0.3 mm and small Brush multiliner.

I have used the following Copic Markers to colour my image:
Shadows BV00, W 00,01,05
Unicorn body YG 0000,00,03,05,06,07,09,11,17
Unicorn hair BG 0000,02,05,07,09 FBG2
Skin girl E50,00,0000,08, R00,11, RV00,02,11
Hair girl BG 0000,02,05,07,09 FBG2
Leaves YG 0000,00,03,05,06,07,09,11,17
Flowers and ears unicorn R00,11

Have a wonderful and creative day
