Millie Just For You

Hi There, it's Faye here today :)

This month I thought I'd colour Millie Just For You from Lili of the Valley. I really wanted to team her up with this pretty paper from the Honey Bee Stamps Summer Stems Paper Pad, which encouraged me to reach for blue and pink. These are not colours I put together very often.

You can watch me colour this gnome by clicking on the You Tube logo...

Summertime

Hello everyone, for my August post I thought of making a drawing that expresses the summer, trying to make a tanned complexion to the complexion of my anime girl.

Here is the procedure:

After drawing with Copic Multiliner, use E000 for the base of the complexion.

E00, E21 and RV10 to complete the complexion.

Y02, G00 and BG23 to color the eyes.

C-1 for shade in the eyes.

C1 and E02 for the mouth.

G00 and BG23 for hair.

Copic Multiliner to color eyelashes and I use a white gel pen to give light to the face and eyes.

To color the bikini I use Y000 and Y02, I use R02 to draw the fantasy of the bikini and W3 to make the shadows.

I use a white gel pen to give light to the hair.

V91 and B000 for background.

This is the end result, I hope you enjoy it.

Until next time!

Glimps Big Ice Cream Card

Hi all,

It is summer time and in Italy that means that it is very hot!

Too hot for me personally but luckily here in Italy they have a great tradition of lovely ice creams. A nice way to cool down a bit , hi , hi.

So today I will show you my card made with a mix of stamps and papers of Glimps.

I have started to print some of the digital papers from the set called Enjoy. The yellow digital paper was put behind the png digital stamp called big ice cream on my computer and I have saved the this image in jpeg and have printed it onto my perfect colouring paper.

This is the first time I have ever tried this, it is easy and fun - must do it more often.

This is what it looks like, now I start to colour the skin.
E00

YR01

E00
YR01
E97

Her eyes BG11, BG13, BG49

The ice cream cone - E31, E35, E37

Her dress - RV 91, RV 93, RV 95, RV 99, RV 42

Her hair YR 21, YR 24, YR 27, E 19, E 29

The ice cream itself with R 56, RV 52, her sunglasses with C 8, 110 , BG 15, BG 49
and some stardust jelly roll pen accents on her dress, shoes and sunglasses.

And the mint with G 000, G 00, G 02

With my black Copic multiliner with a 0.8 tip
I have added some stripes on the paper and gave her eyes some pupils and added some mascara.
With a stardust jelly roll pen I have added some shimmer.

On the ice cream I have added some "chips" with Nuvo jewel drops .

Aren't these digital papers cute?

By the way I have added some shadow below her feet with E 31.

The little doggie that is on the digital stamp was covered by  my new ice cream die  from Gummiapan, thought it was too cute as an extra detail on the card.

I have cut the ice cream pieces out of the perfect colouring paper and have used the same Copic colours as the big ice cream, the chocolate dip was coloured with E 25 and a touch of E 29.

The sentiment and signs are from a clear stamp set from Glimps called Viaggio, the sentiment means "Life is a wonderful journey".

Hope you have enjoyed my post,
hugs Blankina

You Are My Sun, Moon, and Stars

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a card I made featuring one of the new Stamping Bella stamps - Tiny Townie Astrology Chart.

As always, I've stamped the image onto Perfect Colouring Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I masked the two images together and added the sentiment above to make a slimline card.

For the skin I've used E00, E11 and E21, adding E04 for the darkest shadows.

For the hair - E50, E51 and E53 and finished off with some E33.

On the dress I wanted to keep the colour light but also have lots of highlights on the top of the folds. I used a mix of E41, E45, E91 and E93 to get the colour I wanted and then I added some white gel pen on the light areas to make the highlights stand out.

I also  used the mix of blues on both the stars hairband and the shoes.

For the outer ring of the astrology chart I used Y26, Y23, and Y21. For this area I started with the darkest colour first, and faded to the lightest around the outer edge. On the next ring I used E40 and E41.

The moon and stars in the centre - for these I also used Y26 and Y23, but I added some W3, W1 and W00.

I cut the whole image out using a slimline die and popped it up on a light blue card base using foam tape.

Thanks for dropping by today and see you next month.
