Halloween I Want Candy Mixed Media Lantern

Hello Copic friends,

It is almost Halloween, so I thought it was nice to show a Halloween project.
I have made Halloween cards, tags ...and this mixed media lantern.

While you are reading this post I will be demonstrating Copic colouring mixed with card making and scrapbooking at the Hobbyshow in Rome.
This is one of my projects I have created especially for the show.

For the first time the Canadian brand Kraftin Kimmie  will be shown in Italy and of course it will be possible to buy them! I have picked the super fun clearstamp set called I Want Candy.
Great for Halloween projects, but with a little altering this stamp set can be suitable for birthday/toddlers cards too.

To colour these stamps  I have chosen some nice Halloween colour combos
that are also available in the CIAO range.

I have stamped the stamps onto Perfect Colouring Paper and have started colouring..

Here we go let's start coloring!

The little "devil"

The green combo : G 14, G 17, YG 03, YG 23

The purple combo : V 12, V 15, V 17, BV 08

The "witch"

The gray combo : W 3, W 5, W 7

The pumkins;

The orange combo : YR 15, YR 16, YR 07, E 18

After the colouring I have fuzzy cutted the little devil, witch , bats and pumkins.

This time I have not made a card but a lantern!

I have cut the pieces for the lantern out of some heavy Fabriano Murillo black card stock ( 260g) ,
with some wax I gave the metal look. I have added some acetate windows, but before adding them into to cardstock lantern I have used the cobweb stencil and some decoglass volume paste with a spatula to create the spiderweb pattern. It needs some drying time but once dry it looks fab. Isn't that fun?

I have glued my Copic coloured images onto the lantern, and on top I have added some ribbons in orange, black and purple!

Boooooh! Trick or Treat??? A nice piece of home decor for Halloween is ready.

Happy Halloween and for those of you living in Italy near Rome
come  to visit me at stand B45 at the Hobbyshow ( 11-13 October 2019 ).

Inside the lantern I have added a candle with a battery.
Of course not a real candle as it is made  out of paper cardstock.

I have used:
Black cardstock Fabriano Murillo ( 260 g )
Sissix die for the lantern
Ribbons
Heavy acetate
Cobweb Stencil Kraftin Kimmie
I Want Candy clear stamp set Kraftin Kimmie
deco glass volume paste colour Moon dust Ferrario

Copic :
Skin : E 00, E 11, E 02 E 93
Hair witch : E 11, E 18, YR 15, YR 07
Cape devil : V 12, V 15, V 17, BV 08
Suit devil : G 14, G 17, YG 03, YG 23
Bat : W 3, W 5, W 7
Dress witch : W 3, W 5, W 7

WEDDING SEASON

Hi everyone!! It's Virginia here with my June tutorial for you.

I've not done a completed project yet. I'm still thinking about what to do with my coloured stamp but, the thing is that in Spain, where I live, it is coming into wedding season. For this reason, I've been working on something useful when I colour my wedding stamps, and one of the most difficult things for me is thinking about the backgrounds.

Today I want to give you a new inspiration to your wedding projects.

I've used this sweety Tiddly Ink stamp. I think is the ideal stamp for a wedding project.

The Copic colours I've used are:

Skin: E13-E21-E00-R21
Bridegroom suit and shoes: N9-N7-N6-N5
Bride dress and shoes: R85-R83-R81
Hedges:BG97-BG95-BG93-BG91-R21
Ground: G46-G43-G40-YG21
Sky: B0000-B91-C1-C00-Blender
Heart and roses: R39-R29-R21-R14

As usual, here you have a very simple step by step video tutorial:

And remembar that I have a step by step video tutorial about how to do the sky on my YouTube channel:

And that's all. I hope you like my tutorial and hope it will be useful for you.

See you next month. Bye!!

Save the drama for your Llama!

Hi  Copic friends,

Can you keep a secret?
Well today I have an absolute preview for you,
after that Kim from Kimmie stamps  has agreed
I can already show you the newest stamp set called llama drama,
this set will be released in a few days.
It is still top secret but just for you, dear Copic fans I can make an exception and show it.

As you might have noticed Llamas are "hot",
this lovely new clear stamp set has three llamas (or should I say llama's?)
and some fun text stamps too.

I have cut a piece of Perfect Colouring Paper with my MFT die,
and have stamped the stamps with some black ink.
Glad I have a stamp tool it is so easy.

I did some masking of three Lamas and this is the result..

It all began like this.

Please watch the coloring video below..
caution it might have a positive, cheerful effect on you 😉

I had fun colouring and picking some nice and bright Copic colours.

During the colouring process…

The final result!

After colouring I have added some faux stitching with some MFT dies,
added some enamel dots and twine and two sentiments.

On the glasses of the right llama I have added some glossy accents.

Some design papers from my collection..

Hope you have enjoyed this peek..and that your day will be nice , cheery and colourful!

A Beautiful Flower

Hello, dear Copic Fans,
today here is Barbara/Kreativmonster for you and it is my pleasure to share my latest creation with you. Some days ago, I bought this beautiful stamp from Noor! Design and of course I had to colour it as soon as possible.
The stamp is big, (I love big stamps, you know!) but I think it's seize of 3,5x5 inches (ca. 9x12cm)  is just  perfect, as it fits onto a standard square card of 6x6 inch (15x15cm).
My choice of colour might have been influenced by the wheather, when I made this card, it looked more like Autumn outside than Summer.
I stamped it with Memento Rich Cocoa onto Perfect Colouring Paper and coloured the flower. After that I used my airbrush system to make the white paper match my beautiful designpaper. It is from Maja Design, the collection is "Walking in the Forest". I used E50 and E51 to cover the white and YR12 and YG93 to add some of the colours I had coloured the flower with.

The German sentiment stamp is from Noor! Design, too.
As you can see clearly on the sentiment, I used my airbrush on it, too.
Copics I used:
Flower: YR12, YR14, YR18
Leaves: YG91, YG93
Background: E50, E51, YR12, YG93

I really enjoyed making this card, it will not be the last of this kind!
Big Hugs

Copic Class

Dear All,

As already announced, we are having a Copic Class

on Friday, 3rd February 2012
in our premises in Wiesbaden,
Berta-Cramer-Ring 14 - 16
65205 Wiesbaden.

The class will be a combined Copic Certification-/Copic Certification Instructor Class, which means that those who have not yet participated at a Copic Certification Class can become Instructor by participating at the class on Friday (but must send some projects afterwards to Diny to receive the corresponding "Instructor Certificate").

n.b. for the Benelux and Germany we don't need more Instructors, only for some other contries.
From every country you can apply for the Designer Class.

Those who only want to become Copic Certified participate at the class and receive the "Copic Certified Designer-Certificate" right after the class.

The class, which will be held in English, starts at 9.30 and ends at around 16.30 h/17.00 h and costs EUR 150,00.

Snacks, Beverages and Lunch is included. Manual, technique book and material for practising will be provided.

The participants learn

§         how the Copic Colour system works,
§         how to use Copic markers (different techniques)
§         how easy you can achieve good results with Copic markers
§         how to airbrush with Copics
§         how to use the blender
§         and get many useful tips and tricks about colouring.

As it would be great to have in each country at least one "expert" for Copic techniques who can teach shops and end-users and spread the knowledge about Copic, we really would be pleased to receive your last-minute sign-ins.

In case of any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

With kind regards,

Britta Rumpf
