Wryn Rock Slimline Shaker Card

Hi all,

Are you ready for a new post?
Today I am showing my new slimline shaker card with this fun digital stamp from Tiddly Inks, called Wryn the rocker.

I have printed the digi onto Perfect Colouring paper and have started colouring...
inspired by my own little rocker in the house.

Skin : E00, E11, E04, R20, R22

Hair : YR21, YR12, E23, E57, E59

Skirt : B05, B28, B39

Shirt& stockings : BG23, BG49, BG78

Boots : E29, E18, E08

Guitar : E97, E99, N8, N10

The image was ready to be fussy cut ...

Behind the image I have added a rotating mechanism. This die is fun as you do not have anything popping out on the other side

Time to assemble to whole card..
I have cut a piece of white cardstock (17 x 21cm) and scored it on 8.5 cm to create the card base .

The slimline die was cut twice, one time out of special cardstock, and one time out of foam.

I have put a piece of acetate in between ..in this way the shaker was easy to create.
I have passed  a anti static pouch onto the acetate ..just to make sure not everything sticks to the acetate.

Slim postage die : Whimsy
Musical notes : Marianne Design
Letters : I -crafters
Stitched rectangle : MFT
Rotating mechanism : Impronte D'autore

When you move the shaker, the mini pearls and mini musical notes diecuts will move..
And if you touch the coloured image it seems she is a real rocker that moves forward and backwards.

The letters were cut out of blue green foam and black card stock.

Hope you have enjoyed my "rocker" post..see you next post!
Thanks for visiting the blog.

Keecu the Gatekeeper

Hi there Copic loversElena F here from Scrap-lanak Ganbaran with a little step by step colouring for this fabulous image from The Picsees.

I decided to colour it neutral and I used very "natural" colours.

Here in pictures are the different colouring steps:

Skin: E0000,00, 21, 11, 13

To colour the hat:  E47, 44, 43, 42, 40

I coloured the leather with E13, 15, 09, 18

T-shirt and pants YG91, 93, 95, 97

To give the wings a feel of "forest creature" I choose to colour them opaque with a little greenery: BV00, B91, YG91, 93

...and here's a closer look at the digital stamp colouring:
I finished colouring the cheesecloth with BV00 and BV000 and the scarf with: E42, R81, 83

....but why leave this beautiful image on his own?!
I decided to build a little "forest" scene for him in a few simple steps.

Underground colouring: E00, E13
Grass: YG 93, 95, 97
Some pink dots here and there with R81

Some hanging tree branches with YG99, 97, 95, 93

...and here you've got the picture of my finished colouring project:

I hope you found this post inspiring.
Thanks for sticking with me to the end!

Wooden House

Time flies and it´s my turn to appear here at Copic Marker Europe. The summer is almost over here in Swedena and I´m working my way back into the craftroom.

Today I´m showing a CAS-card, a card you can use for someone who has moved to a new home.

I just love to color this way, to make it look like wood. The stamp is a freebie and I´m not sure where I found it. Sorry...

A new home, ready for it´s new tennents :-)

Close up of the little house...

...and bow!

I have use the following markers

Wood W6-5-4 / E49-47-44-43-42-40
Bow T5-BG99-96-93-90
Heart R89-(87)-85

R87 is a marker I have made myself by blending Various Ink R89 and R81 in an empty pen.

The Desolation of Smauglock

Hello Copic-Fans!
This is my 2nd entry and today I'll show you a fanart.
I'm not only a Copic artist, I also love to draw comics/doujinshis(Japanese term for fan-comics)/mangas.
As a huge fan of the BBC TV-show Sherlock and the Lord of the Rings
/the Hobbit, I started a few month ago a crossover-comic/doujinshi and this is the cover.
It's a parody and I thought a funny illustration in Chibi-style would fit well.

At first I made a digital concept picture.
Making a digital sketches can help a lot and gives you an idea how to colour
the outlines with Copics.

I started with grey outlines an marked the highlights with a yellow Multiliner.

For the gold I used the confetti stroke/technique.

and for shadows:  B60, BV31, BV25, BV23, BV20, BV11 (these are my secret weapon, I use them for EVERY picture)

Additional Material:

I hope you like the picture.
If you want to read the doujinshi/comic,
you can find it on Deviantart and Animexx.

Lomasi - Little flower

Hello all and welcome back!

I'm Sandra I'm from Italy ,here am I with a new project !
This time I choose  "Lomasi" (Little Flower) a fantastic digital stamp from  Wee stamp.

I find that these stamps is very sweet , and very rich in details .
For us who love coloring with Copic Markers is really a great fun color them!

The stamp that I chose is a little Indian girl , and to color her clothes I chose a color palette of YR  family.
These shades of color are the colors that  Indians used for original clothes .
Indians are used to make them with animal skins and YR shadows make a realistic and very natural result.

Indians are also very famous for bright colors they used to paint their skin , and also for their beautiful necklaces and embellishments that they built with their own hands .
So for this details, I go with the BG family that create a strong contrast with the natural colors of the dress.
I have complete  the coloring of the feathers , flowers and raccoon always using soft and vintage colors .

Finally, I created the background with confetti technique  using different  light tones .
Then I finish my card with a bazzil and My Mind 's Eye pattern .
I added a few bells that remind bells that girl has , a ribbon and twine ribbon in the same color .

I hope you enjoyed my project , I leave you a list of the Copic markers I used to color it.
See you soon , hello
Sandra

Among the lies you tell me…

Hello dear all Copic friends,
It’s Cinzia here today to share  with you the  new card  I made for Copic Marker Europe blog.
For this work I used a Saturated Canary image by Christa Smith -  I don’t remember the name -  and for the sentiment I translate a sentence ( thanks to Gina Knott for the support) that the last summer was very famous in Italy, you could find it everywere on shirts and bags , there were some facebook profiles and so on.
I think  it’s very wit and humorous and  for me it  matches perfectly with Christa’s image so I merged them.

Here is a close up of the colored image:
