Less Monday, More Summer!

Hi everyone! It's Sandie here and today I am sharing my colouring on a card I made which features Rosie and Bernie stamps from Stamping Bella. I masked two stamps to create a little scene. This was such a fun card to make and I used lots of colours. 

I started by colouring in the tree. On the leaves I used some greens I don't normally use, but they turned out really well so I will be keeping this combo to mind for future use. 

G03, G07 and YG05

For the trunk of the tree I chose E21, E23 and E25 

On Bernie's mane, I used B00, B02, and B05

On the flowers and lei I used the following colours. I also used these for Rosie's lei. 

- Y11, Y13, Y15, Y17

V000, V12 and V17

BG11, BG13, BG15

R81, R83 and R85. 

To finish colouring Bernie I used :

R20, R01, V000, V12 and V17

N1, N3 and 0 for shading and blending. 

To colour Rosie I used : 

Skin - E00, E11, E04

Dress - BG13, BG15, BG18, R81, R83, R85

Glasses frames - R81, R83, R85

For the glasses I used C5, C7 and C9 and then some white gel pen for highlight. 

On the coconut I coloured with 

E42, E43, E44, YR30, YR31

YR12, YR16, R35 (umbrella and straw)

I completed Bernie by colouring the drink, umbrella and straw with 

YR30, YR31, Y13, Y17, R32 and R35

Finally, I added some "sand" underneath the characters with YR30, YR31, E42 and E43. 

I smoothed the edges with colourless blender.
