In Saint Seiya, as in the Greek mythology, Hades is the Underworld God, and as such, incarnates into a human being.

Hades is the son of Kronos and Rhea.

 Every 243 years Hades can enter the world of humans, and fight against Athena for control over the world.

Dear Copic friends, today I will show you a fan art of Saori Kido, Athena,
 one of the main characters of the series Saint Seiya, created by Masami Kurumada.

Saori is the reincarnation of the goddess Athena. She is the goddess of wisdom, defensive war, strategy, justice and hope.

Saint Seiya is one of my favourite anime/manga since I was a child.

This is my interpretation of Athena made with Copic markers.

Dear Copic friends, today I will show you a fan art inspired in "Magical Emi"

It is an anime series that I enjoyed when I was very young.

Mai Kozuki wants to become a magician herself, just like her hero, the fabulous legend Emily Howell. Unfortunately, because she is still a young girl, she is very clumsy and unsure.

One day, while helping her grandfather move things, Mai sees a strange light enter an odd, heart shaped mirror and turn into a mirror fairy named Topo.

 He takes over the body of her favorite toy, a stuffed flying squirrel, and explains that he must give magic to the one who can see him. He gives her a bracelet with the symbols of the 4 card suits which produces a magic wand. By waving the wand, Mai becomes " Magical Emi". She uses magic to help solve problems.

Dear Copic friends, I am very happy to show you fan art inspired in the 

adult version of "Sailor Chibi Moon". I considered funny also to include "Luna-P" (^___^)

If you know the manga / anime series "Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon", Chibi Moon was the ninth Sensi introduced in the Sailor Moon anime. 

She was the daughter of Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion.

Legendary Idol Eriko, by Suki Manga Art

Dear Copic friends, today is a very sad day, I lost my dad last 22th August after a great and long fight of 2 years and a half with a terrible cancer...

He was very special for me, he show me so many things... also the love of drawing and painting, he was always my fan nr.1

This is the last drawing that I shared with him.

It is a fan art inspired in "Eriko", "Legendary Idol Eriko" is a japanese anime serie. The main character is Eriko Tamura.

She is a real life japanese actress and singer.

Dear Copic friends! How are you? 

Today I will show you my fan art dedicated to "JEM"

Jem, also known as Jem and the Holograms, is an American animated television series that ran from 1985 to 1988 in U.S The series is about a music company owner Jerrica Benton, her singer alter-ego Jem, her band the Holograms, and their adventures.

I love this animated serie so much, so I decided to create a manga style look for Jem.

To create this fan art I used the following Copic colors:

I am glad to be here one more time to show you another recently illustration.

This time I created a fan art of Candy Candy, a character created by Ms. Higarashi & Ms. Mizuki.

She is one of my favourite characters from my childhood, I hope you like this illustration.

I received many times the question about what kind of paper I use for Copic markers, I used a 120 gsm A4 size paper to create this one. Sometimes I use also A5 size.

"Always thinking of you" Copic artwork by Suki Manga Art

Dear Copic friends,

For the entry of today I created a fan art inspired in Sailor Moon (character created by Naoko Takeuchi).

I grew up watching this anime when I was a child, so I love so much this character.

I hope you like it  ^____^

As usual, I started to colour eyes and skin:

Skin: E000 - E00 - E11 - R20

Eyes: B000 - B00 - B12 - B05

Then I used red and burgundy colours for the clothes and continue with the first base for her hair and light grey to add shadows on the white clothes:

Clothes: R29 - R59 - R000 - 0 (Blender) - C1 - C3 - C5

Hair: Y80 - E11 - Y38 - YR02

Next step is to add all blue colours for the picture. I used same copic markers for clothes and for the starry sky:

Clothes and sky: B29 - B99 - B45 - B00 - B000 - B05 - 0 (Blender)

All the shine effects are made by no coloring the paper (just used the colour of the paper), regarding little spots and fine lines I made them using a white ink pen.
