My way to colour with Copics

Hello everyone!
It's Vili here today, sharing a new video tutorial for
my way to colour with Copics
As the colouring itself took me more than half an hour I've slightly quicken the video and I've added all the markers, which I used.
You'll see how I 'wash away' with a lighter marker some mistakes in the hair.
I used Mo's Digital Pencil's 'Walker'.

Copics used:
Skin: E50, E51, Е53, Е55, Е93, R32
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37, E77, E79
Clothes: RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99, W9
Shadow: W0, W3, W5

An Album For a 9-year-old Birthday Girl

Hello everyone!
It's Vili here today, sharing a new album for one cute 9-year-old birthday girl:

This time I used a rubber stamp just because there is no digital one.
Usually, I prefer digital stamps because there are more opportunities for changing the size, rotating the image and so on.
The party's theme was 'Gojuss's girls', who the little birthday girl is in love with, so the choice was completely logical:

If you're asking yourselves what is this keyring, I tell you right away - this is the invitation for the party, which I made from playing cards, topers and other embellishments:

Copics used:
Skin: E50, E51, Е53, Е93
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37, E79
Clothes: RV63, RV66, RV99, W0, W3, W5

Scooting By

Hello everyone!
It's Vili here today, sharing my tiniest card ever.
I've said many times that my older daughter is into synchronized swimming for 10 years. Now she's already a grown-up girl and decided to stop competing. So, today's card is an addition to the gift for her coach. I chose Tiddly Inks' Wryn - Scooting By because it gives the feeling of a change.

I coloured the scooter in the classic red and white and Wryn - in bright yellow, so as to be contrasting.

Copics used:
Skin: E50, E51, E53
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37, E79
Dress: YR20, YR21, YR23, YR24
Scooter: R32, R35, R37, R39, E40, E43, W3, W5

Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

How I Colour Fur

Hi, everyone!
Here's Vili and today I'd like to show you the way I colour fluffy fur. I chose a really cute Silviya Zet's stamp - Fluffy Hanging There, which, sadly, can't be found digital anymore.

I decided to make my Fluffy not in the traditional "forest" colours but in more unusual ones. I chose the Warm Grey range of colours and started colouring the whole fur with the lightest one:

Then it comes a little bit darker one, and I mark the places of the shadows with it:

And the darker one:

And the darker ones:

I've said many times that after I've put the darker colours I return to the two lighter ones and I go over with them again:

Now I need my Copic Classic markers because they have fine nibs, useful for fine details:

After the darker spots are ready I put in the darkest colour:

I leave out the other steps of the colouring because this post will become too long but my Fluffy is almost ready:

Now it's time to highlight the lightest spots, using white gel-pen:

And Fluffy is completely ready:

Copics used:
Fur: W0, W1, W2, W3, W5, W7, W9
Flowers: RV52, RV55, W3
Background: V20, V22, V25
Earth: E50, E51, E53, E55

Thank you for everything

Hi, everyone! Here’s Vili with some new cards.
In Bulgaria every child’s educations begins with kindergarten and continues with primary, secondary, high school and so on. Kindergarten teaches a child how to behave and gives him/her the confidence and strength to keep learning new things, make new friends and work in team.
This is why the very first teachers are the most important in kid’s life. I was asked to make four similar cards for a young lady’s teachers, who played a great role in providing a basis for her education. She and her mother wanted something kind and special, something that says “Thank you for everything”.
So here is what I’ve done:

Baby Treasure Box

Hello everyone, Vili's here with my first Baby Trasure box!

I made a box for my best friend's baby, who was born 18 years after her bigger child! At the moment she is experiencing motherhood in a whole new and romantic way and she wants to keep every minute as long as she can. I myself keep many baby items that once belonged to my daughters - I keep some tiny clothes, the first baby shoes, the first hat, the first lock of baby hair, and even a dummy. This box is intended exactly for the storage of such precious memories.

I chose Mo's Baby and Bunny and coloured it with great pleasure.

The fluffy blanket is my favourite. I made it, the teddy rabbit and the background using dot technique, which is really suitable for fluffy objects and washed-out backgrounds:

The box's caption is Kosyo's Treasures:

These are the boxes where the first lock of hair, the navel clip and the bracelet from the maternity hospital will be stored:

Copics used:
Skin: E00, E50, E51, E53, R32, E93

Аround the World

Hello, everyone, Vili's here with a new card!

I deeply and truly believe that the world has become so accessible lately, that using one of the modern communicative technologies you can travel everywhere you want without even leaving your home. Diving into the world of books and surfing the Web can give you a huge amount of information.

With today's card I wanted to pay the earned attention to the books which give us the opportunity to visit every place on earth. I used Mo's Janny Texting and some new cutting dies and elements, too.

Copics used:
Skin: E50, E51, Е53, E93
Hair: E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E29
Clothes: B32, B34, B37, B39, E40, E43, E44, R32, R35, R37, R59

Colouring with Copic markers on Kraft Paper

Hello everyone, Vili's here with my first tutorial for the year!

I really love pictures coloured on kraft paper, the colours look somewhat dusty on the dark base. In more of the cases, to colour on dark base what is needed are permanent (oily) or aquarelle pencils but alcoholic markers can be used, too. Today I'll show you how I do it.
Despite Copic markers and a printed or stamped image on kraft paper, it is required a white pencil and, eventually, a white gel pen. No matter what is the kraft paper, it is important to be smooth. I chose ADFD's Delicate Fairy Of Flowers, because her dress has many folds and good contrast can be made.

I start with colouring the skin:

As the paper is dark, I use darker tones in the shadowed parts:

I blend with a lighter one:

I add pink on the cheeks:

In the lightest sections I use the white pencil:

And again, I repeat with the markers consecutively the dark, the middle and the light (gone over with the white pencil) parts:

I strengthen the colour with the ones on the cheeks:

It's time to colour the fairy's dress:

I start with the darkest tone, then it comes the lighter and then the lightest one:

Here, like in the face, I go over the lightest sections with the white pencil:

I repeat them with the lightest tone, I blend the darker colours and the dress is ready:

I start colouring the hair with the lightest tone:

Now it is turn for the shadows - I make a contour with a darker grey and then I blend it with a lighter one:

I colour the flowers and the wings:

If I decide it is needed, I go over the lightest parts with the white pencil once again:

Some last touches with the white gel pen and the fairy is ready:

And here it is what I did with it:
