Sneaky Taste

Hope you have had a great summer. We can now just relax and enjoy some colouring without feeling guilty for not spending the time outside in the sun.

I spent some time colouring this little guy, Sneaky taste by Nellie Snellen. I really don´t have any trouble with older stamps. I don´t need the latest released. If the image is cute and nicely drawn it really doesn´t matter. I colour images that talks to me, touch my heart.

I started by stamping my image on to some Perfect Colouring Paper and used Memento Ink pad.
It´s a clear stamp and it´s not the best quality, it´s little softer and if you press to hard it might end up as it did for me with some thicker lines as in his face but I thought that when I had coloured the whole image it wouldn´t show as much as in the beginning.

My first layer for the skin: E000

The shadows for the skin: BV20

Ontop of the shadow I added a new layer: E11
And for the cheeks, belly botton, knees and elbows I used: R02

To blend everything I went in with: E50 and R00

The cake: E41 - E43 - E44 - E42

The cherry: R24 - R59
Icing: B00 - B000

The cake dish: Y21 - YR21 - YR24 - Y26 - T3

Linen: BG10 - BG11 - BG23
Filling: R81 - R85

Knickers: BG70 - BG72 - BG75
I feel that theese shades are fare from each other so I use tip to tip method when I colour with them.

Flower: R00 - R81 - R85 

Hair: E40 - E42 - E43 - E44

And the most important, the shadows to groud the object: 
W00 - W1 - W3 - W5

Look at the picture abowe and you´ll see how the objects just floats on the paper,

before you put in the shadows your eye doesn´t have anything that tell you anything about how high abowe the gound the object is.

You don´t need to have a perfect shaped shadow, just the illusion will take you far!

Some highlights added with a Gelly Roll White Dark pen.

Longing for spring...

Hi there everyone, Åsa here from Sweden today with some Copic inspiration for you all.

Today Im a little inspired by the upcoming Spring and got - for being me - a lot of wonderful flowers on my card.

I got papers from Maja Design combined with the wonderful stamp/digi from Nellie Snellen.

I have used the following colors:

Skin: E11-21-000-000-R11-BV20

Hair: E29-18-15-13-11

Wings: BG000-0000-Blender

Pink: R85-83-81

Blue: B99-97-95-93-91

Grass: G24-21-20-YG23

Flower: N2-1-YR20

Red: R37-35

Sky: B000-0000-Blender

As you can see I like to use BV20 for the shadows on the skin.

I think it gives a nice effect.

Hello copic fans,

It's my turn today (Wenda ) to show you a card. I made one with a stamp "Sweet Elin" from "Nellie Snellen" de card I made for the daughter of Nellie Snellen, she asked me cards to make for her shop. 

Of course I colored with copic's my favorite color medium.

On the card I have put a few flowers and the corners I made with the "Melting Pot" and colored with "Perfect Pearls".

The Text stamp is from "Lydia Boode" 

 The colors used are:

Skin :  R22 - R20 - E11 - E00 - E000 

Hair : E37 - YR24 - Y26 - Y15 - E50

Rose : RV99 - RV95 - RV93 - RV91

Purple : V17 - V15 - V12
Background : BV20 - BV0000

I really love this stamp, the boy is so cute. And you can use him for so many

occasions. 

This time I have stamped my image in Grey. (Memento London Fog)

When you stamp in grey you get an very soft look.

The papers from My Minds Eye an 6x6 paper stack.

Ich liebe diesen Stempel einfach, der Junge ist so niedlich. Und man kann ihn für viele Gelegenheiten verwenden. Dieses Mal habe ich ihn in grau (Memento London Fog) gestempelt. Wenn man in grau stempelt, wirkt der Abdruck sehr weich. Die Papiere sind aus einem 6x6 Paket von My Minds Eye. 

Around the image I made an confetti background. 

To create this background I use only the light colours

C1 YR20 E51

 and the nip from the brush.

Um das Motiv herum habe ich einen Konfetti-Hintergrund gemacht. Dafür habe ich nur die hellen Farben

und die Pinselspitze verwendet.

Revolver Hero

A few week ago, I bought this paper stack from Echo Park, Times & Seasons. Those colors aren't my colors. People who knows me, don't expect that I will bought an paper stack like this.

Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich den Papierblock Times & Seasons von Echo gekauft. Diese Farben sind nicht meine Farben. Leute, die mich kennen, würden nicht erwarten, dass ich so einen Papierblock kaufen würde. 

Almost all my papers are pink, purple and pink, pink and pastels, Oh did I mention pink....?

The papers from this stack are so not pink, and totally different, but I liked them, especially the black and brown ones.

Fast alle meine Papiere sind rosa, rosa und lila, rosa und pastell, hatte ich schon rosa erwähnt?

Die Papiere in diesem Block sind sowas von nicht-pink, und völlig anders, aber ich mag  sie, speziell die braunen und schwarzen.

At this time I chose the stamp "Revolver Hero" from Nellie Snellen, she is a Dutch Designer and she draws a lot of this cute stamps.

Dieses Mal habe ich den Stempel "Revolver Hero" von Nellie Snellen genommen, sie ist eine holländische Designerin  und sie zeichnet viele niedliche Motive.

I chose a lot of papers from the stack and I glued a craft envelope behind the papers with a label.  

With a spellbinder die, I cut the scallop oval and a oval from my Perfect Coloring Paper.

At this part I stamped the image with memento ink.

Ich habe eine Menge Papiere aus dem Block ausgesucht und eine  Papiertüte und ein Label hinter die Papiere geklebt.

Mit einer Spellbinder-Schablone habe ich das gewellte Oval und ein Oval aus meinem Perfect Coloring Paper ausgestanzt.

Auf dieses Teil habe ich mit Memento gestempelt.

With distress ink, Frayed Burlap, I colored the edges of some papers.

The car is a die from Tim Holtz, also the fence die.

But for the fence die, I used some old leather.

Die Ränder des Papiers habe ich mit Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap gewischt. Das Auto ist eine Stanze von Tim Holtz, der Zaun auch, aber für den Zaun habe ich ein Stück altes Leder verwendet.

And of course I colored with Copics.

Und selbstverständlich habe ich mit Copics coloriert.

I used the E group E43 E44 E47 E49 for the leather clothes.

Ich habe die E-Gruppe E43 E44 E47 E49 für die Lederkleidung verwendet.
