Snowflakes and Stars

Nice to see you here today!
Well, the weather in Germany has turned to cold and rainy and so I am in the right mood to start making some christmas cards. You know it - it's here before you know it and I don't know how many times I had to make a lot of christmas cards in like no time. Every year I plan to start early but well... So this time I do!LOL

Schön Euch heute hier zu sehen!
Nun, das Wetter hier in Deutschland hat zu kald und regnerisch gewechselt und so bin ich in der richtigen Stimmung, mit der Produktion meiner Weihnachtskarten zu beginnen. Es ist jedes Jahr das selbe - auf einmal ist Weihnachten da, ganz plötzlich und ich weiß nicht mehr, wie oft ich dann ganz viele Karten in wenig Zeit machen mußte. Jedes Jahr nehme ich mir vor, rechtzeitig zu beginnen, aber naja.... Dieses Jahr sieht es gut aus!LOL

Here on my card I used an image by Lili of the Valley and went with teal als the main color of my image. Of course I had to add a little yellow for the stars and since they are the only yellow items on the card these really pop out.
The big flower is made using a Sizzix die and I also added a snowflake by Whiff Of Joy.
For the right amount of bling any christmas card just needs to have I put Stickles on the stars and that snowflake that is included in the flower.
The little snowflakes and the ground in the image are covered with some "Plusterpen", similar to the Fluffy Velvet Pens by Marvy Uchida, that pops up when heated.
The saying is by Whiff Of Joy and it means "the magic of winter".

Ich habe hier auf dieser Karte ein Motiv von Lili of the Valley verwendet und die Karte hauptsächlich in Türkis gehalten. Natürlich mußten die Sterne gelb werden und nachdem sie die einzigen gelben Elemente auf der Karte sind stechen sie so richtig hervor.
Die große Blume ist mit einer Stanze von Sizzix gemacht und ich habe auch noch eine Schneeflocke von Whiff Of Joy mit reingearbeitet.
Natürlich darf Glitzer auf einer Weihnachtskarte fehlen, darum habe ich die kleine Schneeflocke in der Blume sowie die Sterne mit Stickles überzogen.
Die kleinen Schneeflocken und der Boden im Motiv sind mit Plusterpen überzogen, der sich so schön aufbläht, wenn man ihn erhitzt.
