Make your own Flowers with Copics

Hi everyone,

Today I have prepared a little tutorial for you. As I had to make a book cover for a girl's bible. Therefore I thought about making flowers matching the design papers and my image colouration. So I want to show you how I made them...

To create these, I've punched several Flowers and Leafs out of white Bazill Paper.
Then I started colouring the leafs
with two shades of green (YG93, G85)

And now I've coloured the flowers in different shades of pink.
Some lighter and some darker, to get a natural effect. I just love how easy it is to blend colours with Copic Markers... :D Rather sharp or soft blending... everything is possible... the way you like.
I also coloured the backside of the flowers with a middle tone.
(RV000, RV00, R81, R83, R85)

I sticked them together in several layers and formed the flower leafs.
Then added a pearl in the center to give it that romantic touch.
So now I have the flowers and leafs colours matching the design
papers and image coloration...
For the coloration of my Mo Manning image I've used following colours:
YG91, YG93, RV000, RV00, R22, R81, R83, R85, BG10, BG11, BG13,
E0000, E000, E00, E11, E51, E55, W00, W2

Hope you enjoy this little spring breeze through all these snowy and gray days :)

Wish you a great & colourful new week,
