Fairy on a Tree

                Hello everyone, Rosi here! I'm here today with a beautiful fairy sitting on a tree branch.

This one is from the Patreon images created by Krista Smith.

My skin color combo is E0000, E000, E00, E11, E21 . I always start with E0000 all over the skin.

I go over my E11 with E21 in order to darken my shadows. I do the same twice.

Today I decided to use warm greys for the hair. W2,W3,W5,W7,W9

I started with the lightest color with quick and thin strokes and finished with W9.

For her dress , eyes and wings I used a new color combo for me because I didn't have those colours in my Copic collection.

I used BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78, starting with the lightest colour.

I didn't want to make the image monochromatic that's why I decided to add some pink on the wings.

RV000 and RV52.

At the end I added some soft background with BG 000  and some dots with BG70, 72 and RV52.

Ice-Cream

Hello, welcome back!!!

August for me represents: heat, summer, holiday and ice-creams. I tried to make a drawing that incorporated these things.

Drawing with Copic multi-liner

R000 and R20 for the complexion.

R02 for the top. Y02 and Y17 for the elastic of the shorts.

B000 and BG15 for the T-shirt.

I applied washi tape to the pants. W5 for the shadows.

BG15 and Y02 for the eyes.

Washi tape for the headband in your hair. W5 for the shadows.

For the ice-cream:

E11, E33, Y02, Y17, R02, R22, RV06 and RV14.

Y000 and R02 for the hair.

After making the points of light with a white gel pen, this is the final result.

Card Pop-Up

 Hi everyone!

For the month of July I created a card using Hello Bluebird stamp, that recalls the summer and the sea.

For the fox YR68 and R05, for the cheeks RV10.

For the lifebuoy BG11 and BG15

For the fox YR68 and R05, for the cheeks RV10. 

For the armrests B000 and BG15. 

For the rabbit W1 and W3, for the cheeks RV10. 

For the shorts B000 and B32.

After coloring and cutting them, I glued them to the pop-up card. 

This is the final result.

End of Summer??!

Helen here showing you a card (one image, two different scenes).
I used "End of Summer" by Mo Manning. I have it as a clear stamp through Stampavie.
And as you will see, it can be in the middle of Summer as well depending on how you color it.



I started by stamping my image on Perfect Coloring Paper with Memento ink.

Sketched in my background with C1.

Started with the sky, B0000.

I wanted a bright, colorful sky, so I went in with B24, which was a mistake.

Tried to get some shape, roundness in the cloud.
I used C00 - C0 - C1 - C3
For her skin I used E000 - BV20 - E11 - E50 - E04

The grass: YG03 - YG17 - T5
The sand: E31 - E33 - E35

Water: B32 - B41 - B45 - Gelly Roll Dark White

Hair: E07 - E19 - E29
Top: V0000 - V000 - V01 - C1
Jeans: B41 - B97 - B95 - B91
Flip flops: V000 - V1, C1 - C3
Flowers: Y17 - C1 - C3

This time I made a card out of my image because
I wasn´t pleased with the outcome of my coloring.
It was the color, B24, for the sky that I didn´t like.
But by cutting it down, I´m very pleased.

I started of with this background, this was what I had in mind.
But I struggled a bit and, when I did, I forgot to take photos.

Skin: E000 - BV20 - E50 - E11 - R00
Hair: Y00 - E53 - W3
Jeans; B91 - B93 - B95
Fence: C1 - C0 - Blender , and I have many layers with C1
Grass: YG21 - YG01 - YG17 - YG67
Background: YG21 - E30 - YG91 - YG93, Blender, Gelly Roll Dark White

So, does it feels like the end of the summer in the images?
I think not.

Skipper the Mermaid

Hello everyone!

Rosi there!

I'm here today with a sweet little mermaid. I do love fairies a lot but I also love mermaids.

This one is called Skipper and it is from the digital stamps selection from Sweet november stamps.

My skin color combo is E0000, E000, E00, E11, E21 and R20 for the cheeks. I always start with E0000 all over the skin. Maybe I should try some other skin combos....

I go over my E11 with E21 in order to darken my shadows.

I colored the eyes with B04,02,00,000

Her hair is a combo from E30,31,33

I decided to color her tail in violets. V00,01,04,05,06

Crab and starfish are colored with Y02,11,13,15,17 and E13

Sand is colored with E30,33,35

And the sea BG10,13,01,000
