Glimps Big Ice Cream Card

Hi all,

It is summer time and in Italy that means that it is very hot!

Too hot for me personally but luckily here in Italy they have a great tradition of lovely ice creams. A nice way to cool down a bit , hi , hi.

So today I will show you my card made with a mix of stamps and papers of Glimps.

I have started to print some of the digital papers from the set called Enjoy. The yellow digital paper was put behind the png digital stamp called big ice cream on my computer and I have saved the this image in jpeg and have printed it onto my perfect colouring paper.

This is the first time I have ever tried this, it is easy and fun - must do it more often.

This is what it looks like, now I start to colour the skin.

Her eyes BG11, BG13, BG49

The ice cream cone - E31, E35, E37

Her dress - RV 91, RV 93, RV 95, RV 99, RV 42

The ice cream itself with R 56, RV 52, her sunglasses with C 8, 110 , BG 15, BG 49
and some stardust jelly roll pen accents on her dress, shoes and sunglasses.

And the mint with G 000, G 00, G 02

With my black Copic multiliner with a 0.8 tip
I have added some stripes on the paper and gave her eyes some pupils and added some mascara.
With a stardust jelly roll pen I have added some shimmer.

On the ice cream I have added some "chips" with Nuvo jewel drops .

Aren't these digital papers cute?

By the way I have added some shadow below her feet with E 31.

The little doggie that is on the digital stamp was covered by  my new ice cream die  from Gummiapan, thought it was too cute as an extra detail on the card.

I have cut the ice cream pieces out of the perfect colouring paper and have used the same Copic colours as the big ice cream, the chocolate dip was coloured with E 25 and a touch of E 29.

The sentiment and signs are from a clear stamp set from Glimps called Viaggio, the sentiment means "Life is a wonderful journey".

Hope you have enjoyed my post,

For You | Anti-stress Copic Doodling with Video

Hello,
How are you? A little stressed?

Today I am sharing a new anti stress doodling with my Copic, highly recommendable!

I have started with a piece of Perfect Colouring Paper a stencil from Kraftin Kimmiestamps (kaleidoscope) and a black Copic multiliner 0.3.

I have traced some of the circles. This design will just be my guideline.

Here you can see the shapes I have traced from the stencil, now I have started to add Copic colors and connect the shapes with doodles.

Just relaxing.. no thinking ..
I have picked some blue greens and yellow greens and to give it a pop also some fluorescent colors,
see list below.

I have made a little video for you.

And did you like the video?
Fun to see what effects you create with two multiliners and little Copic marker.
And some dots with a white gelly roll pen.

I have glued the design onto a black card ,
The fishtail die is from My Favorite Things
The text was cut out of foam with a die from Modascrap.

I like the contrast..end result a card and I am totally relaxed too :).

Copic multiliner black 0.5

For me April means a month full of birthdays.

I have stamped this beautiful stamp from The Greeting Farm (cheeky birthday) with wicked black hybrid ink onto Perfect Colouring Paper.

And have started to color her skin, this combination caught my eye during a coloring video and wanted to give it a go too.

Yes it starts with a dark purple, V 17...

In the video I show all steps of the colouring of the whole card ..

You can see what I did , just two simple lines which were coloured with Copic and I have also added a sentiment from another set from The Greeting Farm called warm wishes.

Here gifts are pilling up, did some masking.

In order to add a piece of design paper on the bottom I have fussy cut the left side, just along the line and her legs.

Now it is easy to add the design paper  and glue it onto the Perfect Colouring Paper.

This is the final card, hope you have enjoyed your visit here on the blog and that you liked the video too.

Anti stress Copic colouring with Blankina

Hello all Copic friends,

How are you? Hope fine...
Today I have a little tutorial for you: anti stress Copic colouring.

We all have stress and I have this nice and colourful way to relax, I call it anti-stress Copic Colouring. Simple and fun to do.

I have started with a sheet of Perfect Colouring paper (A4) and a pencil

And have started to  draw lines without thinking.....
Later I have  covered these lines with various Copic multiliners.

Suggestion :
Before adding Copic colouring you can still erase the pencil lines,
when you add colours with your Copic pencil lines will NOT erase anymore.

Are you curious how I have made the design?

I have used these colours ...
Please watch this little video below and discover all steps

I can highly recommend this anti stress colouring, it does help to relax and in the end you also have a colourful drawing... This can be framed or used as a cover for example.

When you use a smaller pieces of PCP you can also make lovely cards  with these anti stress drawings.

This is a unfinished piece of my drawing. You can see the completed design in the video !!

called  "Ice Christmas" from LOTV  onto transotype Perfect Colouring Paper .

Here it is ,
now let's start to colour...
I have started with the lightest colour B0000.

After having coloured the ice blocks I thought it was fun to draw an icy background too.

I am not an expert but it is great to try new techniques right?
And practice is always the key.. It was such fun to do too !

Of course the cute penguin needed some colour too.

Below you can find the colouring video,
step by step to give an idea how I have created this card.

Was it clear?
It takes quite a lot of time to create videos but if they are helpful for you it is all worth it.
It would be nice to receive some feedback in the comments .

Buon Natale means Merry Christmas in Italian...

Under the sea

For today's post I've created an under the seascape with Copic Markers.

Start with making a background on Transotype Synthetic Paper.
Pick out a few nice colours (Various Ink) like  BV00, BG75, BG49 and BG45.  Add a few drops of ink on your paper and add some pure alcohol, so the ink can flow freely on the paper. Add some more drops when needed and use a mini blending tool to create structure.
Finally I also used some gold foil.

I will use the gorgeous stamps by Pink Ink Designs. The stamps have a lot of fine details and I decided to stamp the images straight to the background, so I don't have to cut out all those tiny hairs. I also stamp the images on a sheet of Perfect Colouring Paper.

I always start with a layer of E50.

Add some shadow with BV00.

Add the E00 over the BV00 to get a warm skintone.
And blend all layers together with E000.

I am not satisfied with the result so far, so I keep adding  E00 and E000 to enhance the colours.

For the darkest shadow I add W3 and W5.

The mermaid's body will be rosy purple, start with BV00 and R22.

Add R29 for more shadow in the rosy red parts.

And use BV02 for more shadow in the purple parts. .

I use the R20 to blend the BV00 and R22 together.

Blend the BV02 and the BV00 together using the BV01.
Use the R24 to blend R29 and R22 together.

Use the R20 and R22 to add some spots on the tail and the body.

I will use the same colours for the fish.
For this cute little fish I used BG45, BG49, BV04 , BV02, R22 and R24.

This beautiful fish will get 1 colour, R20, R22, R24 and R29.

And for these lovelies  I use R20, R22 and R24.
And for the cute fish at the bottom BG02, BG45, BV00 and BV02.

After I cut out all the images and glued them down on my background I decided to add some coloured pencils.

And this is the end result.
Used a Copic Multiliner to make the hairs and swirls a tiny bit darker.

Have a fabulous day,
see you next month.

Miranda
