(oops, I just noticed I forgot to colour their noses. BV20, BV23, and BV25)

RV55, RV66 and RV69 for the lolly, with some added white gel pen.

For the chocolate bar wrapping I used YG63, YG67 and I used YG21 for the lightest areas. For the chocolate I used E74, E77, and E79

Finally, for the ground I used E30, E31 and E34 and I added some white stripes to the chocolate bar using white gel pen.

Guinea with a Key

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing how I coloured this super cute Guinea pig image from Stamping Bella called Guinea with a Key

I stamped the image onto Holtz colouring paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I started with E35 to mark out where I wanted the darker areas.

I then pulled out the E35 with E33

and then E31

I filled in all the white areas on the fur with E30

For the nose I applied a touch of R22 and blended out into the fur with E21

On the key I started with YR18, then Y26 and finally Y15

To create some shadow on the white area I used E40 and E50

On the feet I used R21 and R30

The tag is coloured using E40, E41 and E42. I blended the colour out with the colourless blender, 0

R32, R35, and R37 for the heart

I then went back in with the E30's and added more colour until I was happy with the fur

Finally, I grounded the Guinea using W00, W1, and W3

Thanks for popping in today, I hope you are inspired to take out your markers. Check out our Instagram for more colouring inspiration.

A Hug with a Fold

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing my colouring of  Flowery Gnome by Stamping Bella

For the skin tones I used E04 for the darkest areas. I blended the E04 out with E11 and then E00. Finally added some BV01 for shading in the corners under his hat.

I used one of my favourite colour combos for his outfit.
BG11, BG53, BG45, BG57.

On the leaves and flower stems I started with the darkest colour ,YG17.
Then I added in YG25, YG23 and YG21

In the centre of the flowers I coloured with Y17, Y15 and Y13

Finally, for the flowers I used RV69, RV66, RV63 and C1, C3 and C5. I used the colourless blender to smooth our the Cs.

Once I had all the flowers coloured I added some speckles and highlights with a white gel pen.

That's it from me for today. I will be back next month with another colouring.
Until then, happy crafting

Curvy Girl Mermaid Underwater

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing my colouring of Curvy Girl Mermaid by Stamping Bella.

Supplies used:
Holtz Perfect Colouring Paper
Copic Markers
Memento Black ink
Designer paper
White card.

I started out by colouring the skin with E00, E04, 011 and  BV01. I also applied some E21 in the mid-tone areas.

For her bright pink hair I used RV04, RV06, RV09 and RV19.

The flower and leaves -
BG01, BG02, BG05. Y13, Y15, Y17. YG05 and YG17. I also applied some white gel pen for extra highlights.

To colour the tail I first applied BG01 all over. Then I layered on BG02 and BG05 in dots to give the appearance of texture. On the tail I brought in RV02 and RV04 and RV10 and blended it with the blue.

The pearl was coloured with RV10, BG01 and then faded out with colourless blender.

I used YR20, YR21, YR23 and YR24 to colour the sand.

For the water I worked in upward strokes starting with B00. I applied B01, B02 using the same upward stroke motion, layering until I was happy with how it looked.

I then cut out the image with a double stitched square and matted it onto patterned paper and a white card base.

Thanks for dropping by today and see you next month.

You Are My Sun, Moon, and Stars

Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a card I made featuring one of the new Stamping Bella stamps - Tiny Townie Astrology Chart.

As always, I've stamped the image onto Perfect Colouring Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I masked the two images together and added the sentiment above to make a slimline card.

For the skin I've used E00, E11 and E21, adding E04 for the darkest shadows.

For the hair - E50, E51 and E53 and finished off with some E33.

On the dress I wanted to keep the colour light but also have lots of highlights on the top of the folds. I used a mix of E41, E45, E91 and E93 to get the colour I wanted and then I added some white gel pen on the light areas to make the highlights stand out.

I also  used the mix of blues on both the stars hairband and the shoes.

For the outer ring of the astrology chart I used Y26, Y23, and Y21. For this area I started with the darkest colour first, and faded to the lightest around the outer edge. On the next ring I used E40 and E41.

The moon and stars in the centre - for these I also used Y26 and Y23, but I added some W3, W1 and W00.

I cut the whole image out using a slimline die and popped it up on a light blue card base using foam tape.

Thanks for dropping by today and see you next month.

The Littles Happy Fall

Hi all.
Today I'm sharing my colouring on a card I made featuring The Littles Playing in the Leaves from Stamping Bella.

First I stamped the image onto Perfect Colouring paper with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

As always, my skin colours are E00, E11 and E04.
These images are very small and I don't do cheek colour on them.

Hair: E50, E51, E53, E55.

To give the leaves an autumnal feel I used oranges, reds, yellow, greens
Red - R32, R35, R37
Green - YG11, YG13, YG17
Orange - YR12, YR16, YR18
Yellow - Y11, Y15, Y38

For the grass I used a contrasting green to the leaves -
G20, YG11, YG21, YG23, YG25

Dress - BG01, BG53, BG45, BG57
Scarf - YR14, YR16, YR18
I applied a little bit of white gel pen for highlights.

To create the clouds I used my copics instead of inks.
First I used B01 and a stencil to draw the lines for the clouds.

Then with B00 I coloured out further from the line

I brought colour out even further with B000 and then I brushed over it with the colourless blender to soften the lines.

Finally I expanded the grass area before cutting the image out using a pierced rectangle die.

Thanks for dropping by today. I hope you're inspired to take out your markers and colour.
Have a great day
Sandie
