Colouring Afro-Caribbean Hair

Today I would like to show you a video I have made showing how I colour Afro-Caribbean hair.  I chose a fabulous image designed by Krista Smith at Saturated Canary called Lala .

Heute möchte ich euch ein Video zeigen, dass ich darüber gemacht habe, wie ich afro-karibisches Haar koloriere. Ich habe dafür das fabelhafte Motiv Lala von Krista Smith für Saturated Canary ausgesucht.

I find this a very simple and effect method.  I think it could also be used for curly blonde / light brown hair too, but I haven't tried this yet.

Summer Citrus

Hi Copic Fans

Hallo Copic-Fans,

For my card today I decided to use summer citrus colours - orange, green and yellow.  This is not a colour combination that I use very often, but I always think it is good to stretch yourself beyond your comfort zone from time to time.

Für meine heutige Karte habe ich mich für sommerliche Zitrusfarben - orange, grün und gelb - entschieden. Das ist keine Farbkombination, die ich häufig verwende, aber ich finde, man muss ab und zu auch mal die üblichen Pfade verlassen.

My Copic Marker Journal

Hallo Copic-Fans,

I have seen a few Copic Marker Journals around recently.  This is a fantastic Journal for any Copic Lover and so I decided to make one myself and share it with you today.
Ich habe in der letzten Zeit einige Copic Marker Bücher gesehen. Dies ist ein fantastisches Buch für jeden Copic-Liebhaber und daher habe ich mich entschlossen, eins für mich zu machen und es euch zu zeigen.

Inside the Journal there are different sections.

All of the pages for the Journal should be printed onto the paper you use when you colour with your markers, to give you a true colour.  Of course, I used Holtz Perfect Colouring Paper.   

Alle Seiten des Buches sollten auf dem Papier gedruckt sein, das ihr auch zum Kolorieren verwendet, damit ihr eine echte Farbwiedergabe habt. Selbstverständlich verwende ich  Holtz Perfect Colouring Paper.

To decorate the front of my Journal I used a Digi Image called Copica from Saturated Canary - a perfect choice I thought!

I'm sure I will find this Journal to be a useful reference and well as fun to keep up to date.

Hello Fishy

For my card today I chose to use one of the first stamps I ever bought.
Für meine heutige Karte habe ich einen der ersten Stempel verwendet, die ich jemals gekauft habe.

This stamp is called Fish Bowl and is from Funky Kits in the UK.  It's a long time since I used this stamp and I really enjoyed colouring it again with my Copic Markers.  

Dieser Stempel heißt "Fish Bowl" und ist von Funky Kits im Vereinigten Königreich. Es ist schon lange her, dass ich diesen Stempel zuletzt verwendet habe und ich habe viel Spaß dabei gehabt, ihn wieder mit meinen Copic Markern zu kolorieren.

Today I have made a card using a Digi Image from Saturated Canary.  I love working with Digi images as I can resize them to whatever size I need and the ones from Saturated Canary are so much fun to colour with my Copic Markers.
Heute habe ich eine Karte mit einem Digi von Saturated Canary gemacht. Ich liebe es, mit Digis zu arbeiten, ich kann ihre Größe genau so anpassen, wie ich es brauche und die von Saturated Canary machen so viel Spaß beim Kolorieren mit Copics.

The image I used for this card is called Lala.  Here's a close up of the coloured image.

Textured Jeans - A Video Tutorial

When I colour jeans, I like to add some texture using Holtz Copic Activator and a scrap for old denim cloth.  I have made a video showing how you I do this.

I used this image to make a note book using my We R Memory Keepers Cinch.

A Card for The Bride - with Video Tutorial

Hallo,
Today I have made a card using a digi image called Wedding Day from Saturated Canary Digis.
heute habe ich eine Karte mit dem Digi "Wedding Day" von Saturated Canary gemacht.

Before I show you my card, you might like to watch the video I made.  It shows how I coloured the white wedding dress.  For this I used only three Copic Markers - N0, N1 and the Colourless Blender.

A Valentine's Card

Hallo Copic-Fans,

I've made a Valentine's card today using a great digi image from Saturated Canary called Love Letters.
I love working with digi images as you can make them as large or small as you want, but I usually print my images out and leave them for a day before colouring them with my Copic Markers to prevent the ink from smudging.

Ich habe heute eine Valentins-Karte gemacht und dafür ein großartiges Digi namens Love Letters von  Saturated Canary verwendet.
Ich liebe es, mit digitalen Motiven zu arbeiten, da man sie so groß oder klein machen kann, wie man will, aber normalerweise drucke ich die Motive aus und lasse sie noch einen Tag liegen, bevor ich sie mit meinen Copic Markern coloriere, um zu verhindern, dass die Tinte verschmiert.

A Sepia Card

Sepia Tones with Copic Markers / Sepia-Töne mit Copics

I’ve made a video to show you how I colour images using Sepia Tones.
Ich habe ein Video gemacht um Euch zu zeigen, wie ich Motive in Sepia-Tönen coloriere.

When I colour Sepia Tones I like to use the following Markers:
Für die Coloration in Sepia-Tönen verwende ich gerne diese Marker:

Faces/Gesicht – E50, E51, E53

Hair/Haare – E50, E31, E55

Clothes/Kleidung – E40, E41, E43, E44

Of course, it is also fun to experiment with other E numbered markers to find the shades that you like.  This selection is just my favourite.
Natürlich macht es sehr viel Spaß, auch mit anderen E-Markern zu experimentieren und die eigenen Lieblingstöne zu finden. Die hier aufgeführten sind nur meine Favoriten.

A Magnolia Christmas Card

Today I've made a card using one of the new Magnolia Christmas Stamps - Tilda with Hellebores

I've made this video to show you how I colour darker skin tones.

There are a few different colour combinations you can use, but my favourite is:

E11, E13, E25 E27 and R85 for the cheeks.

Merry Christmas Tilda

Today I want to show you a Christmas card.

The stamp I've used is called Pink Tilda with Striped Tights.  I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto Copic Perfect Colouring Paper.  I decided to colour her with a darker skin tone.  Here's a close-up:

Back To School / Wieder in die Schule

Hallo Copic-Fans

For my project this time, I've made some Post It Note Holders for my children to take to their Teachers when they go back to school.
Diesemal habe ich einige Post It Notizbüchlein gemacht, die meine Kinder für ihre Lehrer mitnehmen, wenn sie wieder in die Schule gehen.

I used a lovely House Mouse Stamp for this project - it's called Class Clown.
Ich habe für dieses Projekt einen sehr süßen House Mouse Stempel verwendet - er heißt Klassenclown.

I stamped the image onto Copic Perfect Colouring Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.

Ich habe das Motiv mit Memento Tuxedo Black auf Copic Perfect Colouring Paper gestempelt.

Tilda with Ribbon Hair

Hi Copic Lovers
Hallo Copic-Freunde

For my card today, I have chosen to use Ribbon Hair Tilda from the Magnolia "You are So Special" Collection.
Für meine heutige Karte habe ich mich für die Ribbon Hair Tilda aus der "You are So Special" Kollektion von Magnolia entschieden.

I stamped the image onto Copic  Perfect Colouring Paper using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Ich habe das Motiv mit Memento Tuxedo Black auf Copic Perfect Colouring Papier gestempelt.
I decided give Tilda a darker skin tone, as I thought this suited the image.
Ich habe mich entschieden, Tilda einen dunkleren Hautton zu geben, denn ich finde, das passt zu diesem Motiv.

Today I hope to inspire you with a House Mouse image. I love these stamps, the images are so cute and fabulous to colour with your Copic Markers.

Heute hoffe ich euch  mit einem House Mouse Motiv zu inspirieren . Ich liebe diese Stempel, die Motive sind so süß und wirklich toll mit deinem Copic Markers zu colorieren.

The image is stamped onto Copic Perfect Colouring Paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and, of course, is coloured using Copic Markers.

Das Motiv ist mit Memento Tuxedo Black Ink auf Copic Perfect Colouring Paper  gestempelt und natürlich hab ich die Copic Markers verwendet.
I used quite a few markers for this card.
