Love Bugs...

Hi all,

A New Year has started ...

so I thought why don't we start 2020 with a little love?

I have coloured up some of the the brand  new stamps from Kraftin Kimmie,

I love this " Love bugs " set as it has many different images and some fun sentiments too..

To use several images together I have  masked some stamps to create various layers,

just a little reminder  when you are masking stamps  the first stamped image will actually be the one in the front at the end.

So that means that these ladybirds and the big flower (my first stamped images) will be in the front of all the later stamped images in the end.

You will need :

 Perfect Colouring paper, masking tape and stamps...

No DPs? No problem!

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share a CAS card with no DPs. The great thing about using no DPs and making your own is that you can create a card with perfectly matching colours.

I used Funky Mother by Make it Crafty for my card.

Skin: E000, 00, 11, 13, RV02

Hair: E25, 59, YR23

Eyes: B00, 63

Pink: RV00, 02, 04

Beige: E40, 41, 42, 43, 44

I then made a card base out of some Copic paper. I drew a line with a ruler and a Sepia Copic Multiliner (0.3). I coloured the white strip using a pink from my image - RV02. Next, I made dots with a Paperbabe Stamps Dot Stencil and with a Sepia Copic Multiliner (0.1), just the outline of the dots, so that I would create a regular pattern - which I would not have been able to do without the stencil of course. I coloured the dots with a Bronze Posca pen to remind of the colour of my character's hair.

I die cut my image with an MFT die and painted a Make it Crafty Delicate Love Oval Chipboard Frame, using the same RV02 Copic and the same Posca pen as the strip on my card base. I also added stickles to the hearts of the frame.

I added my image to my card base, mounting it on foam for a bit of dimension, and voilà!

Full of Love!

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today to share a card full of love! I used one of the Sweet Valentine Girls digis by Make it Crafty called Marcy Full Of Love - of course ;)!

As always, I coloured skin first using E000, 00, 04, 11 and a bit of R20 for the cheeks and mouth.

Next I coloured part of her dress white - using C Copics. I left a lot of white to give the impression of white with shading and coloured using C4 in the places meant to be the darkest, then C2 and C0.

I continued with the reds. To give a bit more depth, I used T5 in the darkest spots, then R39, R37 and R35.

For her black hair, I chose my favourite combo of 100, C9, then C7 and BV04 in the highlights. So all the colours I used for my image are as follows:

Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11

Hair: 100, BV04, C7, 9

Eyes: BG000

White: C0, 2, 4

Red: R35, 37, 39, T5

And there she is on a card:

I matched her with love DPs by MFT and added 4 little Make it Crafty Heart Chipboards coloured in R35 and R39.

Searching for my Love, by Suki Manga Art

"Searching for my Love",

 this is the tittle of this new illustration. I created an original character for this. My inspiration was the famous "heart in hand" symbol.

 It is a symbol with heart shape made with an open palm.

I hope you like it   ^___^

To create this illustration I used these colours:

Skin: E000 - E00 - E21 - RV10 - R000 - R81

Eye: BG01 - B05 - B24 - B29

Hair: Y11 - Y08 - B00 - BG01 - B05 - YG11 - YG06 - RV10 - R32 - E11 - BV00 - BV10

Background: B60 - Blender

Ribbon: R29 - R59 - W3 - C3 - C1

Rose: C3 - B60

I added few hearts digitally on the background and used white ink for little details.
