Recycling, Copic markers and Activator...

Hello Copic friends,

Today I will show you how you can make fun cards 

with your rubber stamp left overs,

your Copic Activator and some Copic Markers.

I use a lot of rubber stamps for my cards

 and when you trim those rubber stamps

rubber stamp leftovers will remain.

As probably everyone in the world of scrap and cardmaking,

I do not like to throw things away. Ha, ha.

So this is my solution...use your rubber stamp leftovers too.

And make original creations.

You will need :

Copic Activator

Some Copic Markers (I have chosen three markers : RV04, RV14 and R59)

Chromolux paper or other heavy glossy paper

an acrylic block or stamping tool

and last but not least some rubber stamps leftovers.

 I have cut up the pieces, into shapes I like.

I have created a design 

and attached the rubber stamp leftovers onto my stamping tool

(you can also use an acrylic block if you do not have a stamping tool)

 If your stamps are not mounted on foam you can use tack 'n' peel 

to attach the rubber onto the acrylic block or stamping tool. 

I have cut a piece of Chromolux paper 

and have attached it on my stamping tool with the magnets,

before I have coloured the rubber

 I have checked if the "design" fits onto the paper.

After I have started to colour the rubber with my two RV markers.

I have also added some R59.

I have sprayed some Activator onto the rubber stamp leftovers,

quickly turned the stamping tool 

and have pressed firmly to the glossy side of the Chromolux paper.

This was the result. 

The second time I have cut another piece of Chromolux paper,

and this time after having sprayed the Activator 

onto the coloured rubber stamp leftovers

I have pressed the glossy side of the paper 

onto the rubber stamp leftovers with a roller.

You can clean the leftovers with a some activator straight after stamping.

This was the result of the second piece.

I have cut several flowers with a MFT die out of the first piece of paper,

the second piece of paper was cutted with a square die,

 with some Staz-on ink I have added

the sentiment to the background paper.

To give the card a fun effect

 I have fixed the flowers with eyelets onto the background

 using a crop-a-dile big bite tool.

This is my fresh pink floral card!

Let's Spray Some Fun

Hallo Copic-Fans!

I participated last week in Ania Dąbrowska Mix Media workshops.

If you familiar with her grungy messy style, she uses a lot of mists in her work.

The workshops were very inspiring

And I went back home, wondering whether I can mist with my Copics.

 

I found out it is a simple and fun way to use various Ink.

So today I'm gonna show you how you can do it too.

Ich habe letzte Woche an einem Mix Media Workshop bei  Ania Dąbrowska teilgenommen.
Wenn ihr ihren "schmuddeligen, matschigen" Stil kennt, sie verwendet viel Nebel bei ihren Arbeiten.
Der Workshop war sehr inspirierend.
Als ich wieder daheim war, habe ich überlegt, wie ich mit meinen Copics "nebeln" kann.

Ich habe einen enfachen und amüsanten Weg gefunden, Various Ink dafür zu verwenden.
Heute zeige ich euch, wie ihr das auch machen könnt.

HERE IT GOES
UND SO GEHT DAS

Choose a stamp, and a Copic suitable paper

Wählt einen Stempel aus und ein Papier, das Copics verträgt.

 Stamp the image with pigment ink
***
Stempelt das Motiv mit Pigment Stempelfarbe.

Disperse on the stamping, some embossing powder
***
Streut Embossing-Pulver auf den Abdruck.

 Heat with a heat gun
***
Erhitzt es mit einem Heißluftgerät.

Stamp the image again to create a mask

It's important to use dye-based ink (such as memento)

So it will not smear

Stempelt das Motiv nochmal ab um eine Maske zu machen.
Es ist wichtig, dass ihr wasserfeste Stempelfarbe, z.B. Memento verwendet,
damit es nicht verschmiert

Grab 

Empty mist sprayer

A blender various ink 

And your choose of colors that will use you for background

Schnappt euch 
eine leere Sprühflasche, 
den Nachfüller mit der Blenderlösung (0) 
und wählt die Farben aus, die ihr für denHintergrund verwenden möchtet

Drip some ink to the sprayer

Tröpfelt etwas Farbe in die Sprühflasche.

Add some blender too

 According to how much you want the color to be light

Fügt etwas Blender hinzu, umso mehr, 
umso heller die Farbe werden soll.

Now spray!

Jetzt sprüht!

And than some more

Add darker tones to the mister to create different shades

Und noch etwas mehr.
Fügt dunklere Farbtöne in die Sprühflasche um verschiedene Schattierungen zu erreichen.

And a little more.

When you're done, let it dry a bit

Wenn ihr fertig seid, lasst es etwas trocknen

Stamp your image again and color it

Cut it out, and paste it on top of the sprayed background

 today I may show you a new card. 

It's a combination of two Magnolias of the Summer Memories Collection.
heute kann ich euch eine neue Karte zeigen.
Es ist eine Kombination von zwei Magnolias aus der Summer Memories Collection.

I love a lot of those new ones, cute Tilda's with lovely hair and clothes. 

Nice to colour with the Copics.
Ich liebe  diese neuen, niedlichen Tildas mit schönen Haaren und Kleidung.
Gut mit Copics zu kolorieren.

I bought some design paper from Bo Bunny the Country Garden range. Nice greens, blues and yellow, great for spring.

Ich habe Designpapier von Bo Bunny aus der Serie Country Garden gekauft. Schöne Grün-, Blau- und Gelbtöne, großartig für Frühling.

As a basecard I took craft cardstock, therefore I distressed all my papers with brown stamping ink.

 I have chosen the embellishments and ribbons also in the shabby style. Not to filigrane and with a muted cream colour. 

Für die Karte selber habe ich braunen Karton verwendet, deshalb habe ich alle verwendeten Papiere am Rand mit brauner Stempelfarbe gewischt. Auch die Embellishments und Bänder habe ich im Shabby Style ausgesucht. Nicht so filigran und mit einem gedeckten Creme-Farbton.

At this moment I colour Tilda's hair different than last year, more with stripes and not with one highlight band in the middle, but with highlight spots all-over her hair. I believe it looks more exciting.

Zurzeit koloriere ich Tildas Haare anders als noch vor einem Jahr, mehr mit Streifen und ohne dieses Highlight-Band in der Mitte, sondern mit hellen Highlights überall in ihrem Haar. Ich glaube, das sieht spannender aus.

To decorate the card I used dies from Magnolia and paper flowers. The text on the card is a stamp from Whimsy. 

Für die Dekoration der Karte habe ich Stanzen von Magnolia und Papierblumen verwendet. Der Text auf der Karte ist von Whimsy.

These fabric roses are adding a shabby accent to my card. Behind the image I have put a scalloped Tag with a secret message. 

Diese Stoffrosen bringen einen weiteren Shabby-Akzent in die Karte ein. Hinter dem Motiv habe ich ein Tag mit gewellten Rändern und einer geheimen Botschaft versteckt.

After stamping Tilda, I masked her with masking paper and stamped the background. 

I used these Copics for my colouring.

Nachdem ich Tilda gestempelt hatte, habe ich sie mit Maskierungs-Papier abgedeckt und habe den Hintergrund gestempelt.

Ich habe diese Copics für meine Koloration verwendet:

I really love this sentiment stamp, he is so realistic.

Ich liebe diesen Textstempel, er ist so treffend 

I stamped a big background stamp with Copics on Perfect Colouring Blending paper and

also used the activator. First ink the stamp with ink, spray with activator and

stamp on paper.

I airbrushed with BV00 BV02 and E04

With memento ink I stamped the face stamp.

I have colored the face with the Blender Solution to give her

more accent.

Ich haben einen großen Hintergrundstempel mit Copics auf Perfect Colouring Blending Papier gestempelt und auch den Activator benutzt. Bringe Tinte auf den Stempel auf, sprühe etwas von der Activator Flüssigkeit darüber und stemple das Motiv aufs Papier.

Ich habe mit BV00, BV02 und E04 ge-airbrushed.

Das Gesicht ist mit Memento Ink gestempelt.

Ich habe das Gesicht mit Blender Solution "coloriert" um es mehr hervorzuheben.

At the little piece of paper I actually did the same:

I stamped the background text stamp with copic ink and activator,

the sentiment stamp with a dark purple V99.

This piece of paper is glued down with foam tape.

Auf dem kleinen Papier habe ich genau das selbe getan:

Ich habe den Hintergrund-Text mit Copic Tinte und Activator-Flüssigkeit gestempelt,

den Text anschließend mit dem dunklen Lila-Ton V99.

Dieses Papier ist mit 3D-Tape auf der Karte angebracht.

The flowers were white, I colored them with the same colours of purple

BV00, BV02 and E04.

With the airbrush and spica I brushed them at the same colour.

I have also airbrushed the pearl with E04.

Die Blumen waren usprünglich weiß, ich habe für sie die selben Farbtöne BV00, BV02 und E04 verwendet.

Mit Airbrush und einem Spica-Pen habe ich sie coloriert.

Auch die Perle habe ich mit E04 ge-airbrushed.
