Pretty in Pink Slimline Card

Hi all,

How are you doing?
Hope you like my slimline card I have prepared for you today.
I have called it pretty in pink.

I have stamped a cute rubber stamp from the Greeting Farm onto Perfect Colouring Paper with Krafty Kolours wicked black hybrid Ink.

This cute stamp is part of the special 10 years anniversary set.

Here she is
Let's start to color her skin.

I have chosen a different combo this time;
YR 00, YR 20, E 95, E 97, E 99, R 85

Her hair with YR 20, E 97, E 99, E 18

Her jacket and stockings with RV 13, RV 34, RV 66, RV 69

Her hat
E 71, E 77, E 79

Her boots
R 56, R 59, RV 34

Her dress
W 4, W 6, W 8, E 77, RV 69

She looks quite fun but I will add some white accents too.

Here you can see the difference I have added some dots with a white gelly roll pen.
After I have fussy cut the image with my scissors.

To cut the various layers of card stock I have used some slimline dies from Crealies..
I love the borders of these dies they give an elegant look.
The image was added onto the card with some 3d foam pads.

As a fun detail I have added a small ( real ) zip on the top of the card.
I have inserted a paper flower from I am Roses too.

A simple cheery card in some pretty red pink shades.

Copic :
YR 00, YR 20, E 95, E 97, E 99, R 85, E 18
RV 13,RV 34, RV 66, RV 69
E 71, E 77, E 79
R 56, R 59, RV 34
W 4, W 6, W 8, E 77, RV 69

For a young Lady...

Hello, dear Copic Fans,
Today, it's me, Barbara/Kreativmonster, to share a card with you.

A collegue asked me for a card for the "Jugendweihe" of a friend's daughter. I do not know if this occasion is something german, it is very close to confirmation, but without religious background.
It is a very festive occasion to tell young people, that they are accepted as members of the comunity.

So, what we need is a card for a girl of 13 years, obviously no child anymore, wearing a beautifull blue dress - not too much bling-bling.

I hope, she will see herself in this image from Saturated Canary!

I tried to keep it simple, just some very small rhinestones on the Vintage Flourish from Noor!Design, a ribbon and a sentiment (Noor! Deisgn, too) that means "You are unique 365 days a year".

So you can imagine, I am very nervous to hear if she liked it!

I used these Copic Markers to colour the image:
Skin: E50, E51, E01, E02
Hair: E50, E42, E43, E44
Dress, Butterflies: B0000, B000, B12, B14, B16
Shadows: N1, N3,N4

Natural and blond hair

Time flies and it's already May.
It's almost a month since I blogged here.
But now it's time again.
I have used a stamp from "Crafts and me".
This stamp is well suited to color natural hair,
and I've been training a lot on that.

The color I have used is:
Hair: E41,42,43,44,47
Skin: E000,00,11,21
Lips E04
Dress: T7,5,3,1, BG 75,72

 Have a good time

For the pure Joy of Colouring

Hello, dear Copic fans,
today, it is me, Barbara/Kreativmonster, but I do not have a card for you.
Some days ago, Zoe from Make it Crafty showed her coloured version of "Maiden with long golden hair" and I simply knew, I had to colour her, too. Today, I needed some recreation, it is hot in my office and we have loads and loads of extra-work to do, so I decided to take my Copics and do some colouring out in the shadow on my terrace. It was just lovely and it worked, I am much more relaxed now.
I have been asked before, how long such a colouring takes me and this time, it was two hours.
She will find a cosy place in my "Colouring-Book" and I will try to colour a smaller version to use her on a card, that will not be easy!
Copics I used:
Skin: E 50, E51, E01, E02
Hair: E53, E55, E57, E31
Dress: B91, B93, B95
Tiara: Y32, Y35
W1, W3

I hope, you find as much pleasure in colouring as I do!
Big Hugs

I love blonde hair!

Hello, dear Copic fans,
As you may have noticed, blonde is one of my favourite hair colours when it comes to colouring with Copics. That was very different when I started using Copics in 2010, I hated blonde hair and never coloured  hair that way. That changed, when I learned how my former CME-teammate Hanne from Norway colours blonde hair and I realised, that my mistake was that I tried to use yellow for blonde. Now I only use E-tones as E50, E51, E53 and E31 and am very, very fond of this.

For this card, I have chosen the paper first - as usual. It is from the 6x6 paper pad "Walking in the forest" from Maja Design, my favourite paper brand at the moment.
I coloured the swirls and the pearls with B99 to make them match the paper, too.
The stamp is from Sugar Nellie's Homegrown Collection.
Copics I used:
Skin: E50, E51, E01
Hair: E50, E51, E53, E31
Jeans: B95, B97, B99
Blouse: B95, B97, E31
Shoes: E35, E37, W7
Shadows: W1, W3, W5, W7

So, give blonde a try, it is lovely!
Big Hugs
