I have another tutorial for you today!! Stamping with your copics.

Did you already know that you can stamp with your copics too?

Take a rubberstamp and some colours you like. Have your activatorspray ready as well. 

 Use the chiselpoint of your copic marker and apply the ink to the stamp.

Because you apply the ink in small amounts it's fun to use several different colours to get a varigated look. 

After applying the ink, spritz a little activator on your stamp ( to wet the ink again) and stamp immediately on your project as the alcohol ink dries fast. 

This is an example of how a print with copics looks.

I hardly ever use an acryl block to stamp my backgrounds, because I like the grungy effect that you get when you are not using a block, no sharp edges or complete prints

Another fun way to stamp is only using the activator

spritz a little activator on your rubberstamp and stamp immediately on your project

instead of adding colour you bleach out some of the colour...which looks really cool

And this is my finished background.  I used the copics, my airbrush and stencils (by Dutch Doobadoo)  to make a basic background.  I added some extra layers by stamping with the copics and the activator. 

I used this cute little image is by Mo Manning to finish my tag.

Today I have played with Copic Refills and my Airbrush system.

I hope you like the result.

You need:

A Craftsheet

Glossy Paper

Activator

Your fav Refill combo I have used FY1 YR24 G46 G28 G24 Y38.

Your fav Markers I have used YR24 G85 E25 G24

Stamps and Pigment Ink

A piece of scrappaper

Airbrush

Cicle mal

Drop a few drops of the Refill ink on your craftsheet. Spray with the Activator over the ink.

Take your Glossy paper en pull them trough the ink.

If the ink dries you can activate it with activator again and bring your paper again through the ink.

Repeat this, still you're satisfied.

Take your piece of scrappaper and rip the edge so you have mountains.

Use this as a mask to airbrush mountains. With the cirle mask you airbrush the sun in yellow colors.

If your are satisfied with the result you can stamp now over the image. Use pigment inkt for glossypaper. Archival ink is a good option. But realize all kinds of ink can react on the copic ink so you have to heat set the ink.

Glue your card on a black piece of cardstock and then on your basic card.

I saw a lot of clean and simple cards created with Art Impression stamps and watercolour markers. I want to do the same with my rich colour palette from my Copics. But there was one thing I had to keep in mind. I know that my Copic Ink is an alcohol ink, therefore is it dry immediately after applying it on my stamp. We have a solution for that issue and that is our Activator.  You can use it on different ways, I will explain that in this tutorial.

Ich habe eine Menge “clean & simple” Karten gesehen, auf denen Stempel von Art Impression mit wasserlöslichen Markern verwendet worden sind. Ich möchte das mit meiner breiten Copic-Farbpalette auch machen. Allerdings muss ich mir dabei immer bewusst sein, dass die Farbe in meinen Copic Markern eine alkoholhaltige Farbe ist, die sofort trocknet, wenn ich sie auf den Stempel aufgetragen habe. Es gibt hierfür eine Lösung und das ist unser Aktivator. Ihr könnt ihn auf verschiedene Arten einsetzen, ich zeige euch das in diesem Tutorial.

How to create a Watercolour Impression with Copics.

Wie erzielt man mit Copics einen Wasserfarbeneffekt

Materials:

Different Copic markers

Blender

Art Impression stamps or other nature stamps

Activator

Cardstock  or Perfect Colouring Paper

In this case I have used RV 17 and the stamp of a cloth line

Ich habe hier RV17 und einen Stempel mit einer Wäscheleine verwendet.

Apply the Copic ink with the brush tip

on the stamp

Tragt die Copic Farbe mit der Pinselspitze des Markers auf dem Stempel auf.

Spray a small amount of Activator on

 the paper to wet it.

Sprüht eine kleine Menge Aktivator auf das Papier um es anzufeuchten.

Make an impression with your inked stamp, let it stay on the paper for a few seconds. You see a crisp impression of the stamp.

Drückt den eingefärbten Stempel auf das Papier und lasst ihn dort für ein paar Sekunden ruhen. Ihr seht einen scharfen Abdruck des Stempels.

On soft paper, like cardstock you can create a more watercolour look, with the blender. Wash the ink out with it.

Auf weichem Papier wie Cardstock kann man mit dem Blender einen stärkeren Wasserfarbeneffekt erzielen. Die Farbe sieht verwaschen aus, wenn ihr damit über den Abdruck gegangen seid.

 Stamp in the same way grass and flowers on the paper, don’t wet it anymore, but work very quickly. In that case the ink is still wet when you make your impressions.

Stempelt mit der gleichen Methode Gras und Blumen auf das Papier. Feuchtet es nicht nochmal an, sondern arbeitet schnell, dann ist die Farbe noch feucht, wenn ihr den Abdruck macht.

To create the cloud, use a cloud stamp and ink this with B95.

In this case spray a little mist on the paper where the cloud will be stamped.

Für die Wolken verwendet ihr einen Wolkenstempel und B95. Sprüht hier wieder etwas Aktivator auf die Stelle des Papiers, auf die die Wolke gestempelt werden soll.

The finished image, ready to get on a clean and simple card.

Das fertige Motiv, bereit, um auf einer “clean & simple“ Karte verwendet zu werden.

Clean the stamps with the activator.

Wash them afterwards with a mild soap or a stamp conditioner.

Reinigt die Stempel mit dem Aktivator. Wascht sie hinterher mit einer milden Seife oder Stempelpflegemittel/Reiniger.

It is also possible to apply several colours on your stamp. Start with the lightest colour.

Es ist auch möglich, mehrere Farben auf einem Stempel zu verwenden. Beginnt mit der hellsten Farbe.

Because it takes some time to colour with more than one colour, the ink is dry before you can stamp.

Spray the activator on your stamping paper and make an impression.

Da es etwas länger dauert, mehr al seine Farbe aufzutragen, trocknet die Farbe, bevor ihr stempeln könnt. Sprüht den Aktivator auf euer Stempelpapier und macht einen Abdruck.

Again I have played with my Airbrush.

This time I used Glossy Paper from Ranger and I airbrushed

first with YR00, not all over, then YR02 a little bit at the bottom side

then YR31 and Y35.

My husband challenged me to use the colour yellow because most of the time

I use the colours purple and pink, but I'm very satisfied with the result.
Wieder einmal habe ich mein Airbrushgerät eingesetzt.
Dieses Mal habe ich Glossy Paper von Ranger verwendet und erst mit YR00 gesprüht, aber nicht überall, dann mit YR02 unten, schließlich mit YR31 und Y35.
Mein Mann hatte mich herausgefordert, Gelb zu verwwenden, weil ich meistens Lila oder Pink verwende. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis.

After airbrushing I stamped the music notes with Copic activator, slanting in the corners and in the right bottom corner.

Nach dem Sprühen habe ich mit dem Copic Activator Musiknoten schräg über zwei  Ecken und am unteren rechten Rand gestempelt.

Then I stamped the guitar from Chocolate Baroque with brown (Rich Cocoa) memento ink, and also the sentiment stamp.

Dann habe ich die Gitarre von Chocolate Baroque mit Braun (Rich Cocoa) von Memento gestempelt, ebenso den Spruchstempel.

I then made some of the  flowers white with my colourless blender 0 pen. The blender pen pushes the ink away, I brush to the side where I will have the ink.

The other flowers I colored in the same colors as I had airbrushed.

With memento London Frog I stamp the swirls at the edge.

And brush the guitar with spica sand.

Nun habe ich einige Blumen mit meinem Colorless Blender (0) weiß gemacht. Der Blender "schiebt" die Farbe beisseite, ich wische damit in die Richtung, in der ich die Farbe haben möchte. 

Die anderen Blumen habe ich mit den Farben coloriert, die ich auch mit dem Airbrush-Gerät verwendet habe.

Mit Memento London Fog habe ich dann noch Schnörkel in die Ecken gestempelt. Die Gitarre habe ich mit Spica Sand gesprüht.

Ich liebe diesen Textstempel, er ist so treffend 

I stamped a big background stamp with Copics on Perfect Colouring Blending paper and

also used the activator. First ink the stamp with ink, spray with activator and

stamp on paper.

I airbrushed with BV00 BV02 and E04

With memento ink I stamped the face stamp.

I have colored the face with the Blender Solution to give her

more accent.

Ich haben einen großen Hintergrundstempel mit Copics auf Perfect Colouring Blending Papier gestempelt und auch den Activator benutzt. Bringe Tinte auf den Stempel auf, sprühe etwas von der Activator Flüssigkeit darüber und stemple das Motiv aufs Papier.

Ich habe mit BV00, BV02 und E04 ge-airbrushed.

Das Gesicht ist mit Memento Ink gestempelt.

Ich habe das Gesicht mit Blender Solution "coloriert" um es mehr hervorzuheben.

At the little piece of paper I actually did the same:

I stamped the background text stamp with copic ink and activator,

the sentiment stamp with a dark purple V99.

This piece of paper is glued down with foam tape.

Auf dem kleinen Papier habe ich genau das selbe getan:

Ich habe den Hintergrund-Text mit Copic Tinte und Activator-Flüssigkeit gestempelt,

den Text anschließend mit dem dunklen Lila-Ton V99.

Dieses Papier ist mit 3D-Tape auf der Karte angebracht.

The flowers were white, I colored them with the same colours of purple

BV00, BV02 and E04.

With the airbrush and spica I brushed them at the same colour.

I have also airbrushed the pearl with E04.

Die Blumen waren usprünglich weiß, ich habe für sie die selben Farbtöne BV00, BV02 und E04 verwendet.

Mit Airbrush und einem Spica-Pen habe ich sie coloriert.

Auch die Perle habe ich mit E04 ge-airbrushed.
