Soul Summoning

Hello dear Copic lovers!

My name is Yunuyei and today I'll present you my first entry here.

This is my interpretation of the Indian death goddess Kali.

She will be a character in my Manga/Doujinshi/Comic Hell's Kitchen.

At first I started with a digital concept sketch.

It helps a lot  because mistakes are difficult to correct when you're working with Copics.

In the end I added some glow effects with Photoshop

This time i have make an Easel card with my Silhouette. The stamps are digi images from

Make it Crafty and the Toadstools from  Digital Delight.

I used papers from a Kaiserkraft Paperstack.

Dieses Mal habe ich eine Easelcard mit meiner Silhoutte gemacht. Die Stempel sind Digis von Make it Crafty und die Fliegenpilze sind von Digital Delights. Ich habe Papier aus einem Block von Kaiserkraft verwendet.

Ofcourse i have colourd with Copic Markers.

Selbstverständlich habe ich mit meinen Copic Marker coloriert.

But the spots on the Toadstool i colored with 

Copic Opaque White i'm using an paintbrush for this.

Nur die Punkte der Fliegenpilze habe ich mit Copic Opaque White coloriert. Ich habe hierfür einen Pinsel benutzt.

Opaque White is a waterbased, thick white paint that is applied as a finishing touch to your artwork. It's kind of like the icing on a cake. It gives you back the vibrant, tiny white spots that are so hard to keep when you are coloring with markers.

Opaque White ist eine wasserbasierende, dicke weiße Farbe, die euren Werken den letzten Schliff geben kann, so wie die Glasur auf einem Kuchen. Es gibt euch die leuchtenden kleinen weißen Flecken zurück, die so schwer zu erhalten sind, wenn man mit Markern coloriert.

You use this AFTER all your coloring is done. It is not good to color over this stuff, so you want to use this when you know your marker work is done.

Man bnutzt es erst, wenn die Coloration fertig ist. Es lässt sich nicht gut übermalen, daher solltet ihr es erst verwenden, wenn ihr mit den Markern fertig seid.
