Summer Days

Good morning ,

I have used two images  from the  CCDesigns Summer Days Set and  masked the image to add the picnic basket behind her.  I used the Marianne Design Stitch Circle to cut out the image.  I have also used the new Marianne Design Tinys Hearts on the right hand side and popped some gorgeous flowers from The Ribbon Girl into the centre and added the Marianne Designs Vintage Ornament 2 on both sides of the card.

The base of the card was made using a Go Kreate Die.  The gorgeous papers are by MayaDesign Spring Basics.

I added some grass using YG97, YG63, G20, G99 and YG03 and outlined the image using BG10 and blended out with BG000.

 Today it's me, Barbara/Kreativmonster, and I want to show you a card  with one of my new stamps from Marianne Design. I really like these characters, they are not too cute, but are perfect for a lot of occasions.This one is from the Collection "Don en Daisy".

ich bin es wieder, Barbara/Kreativmonster, und ich möchte euch eine Karte zeigen, die ich mit einem meiner neuen Stempel con Marianne Design gemacht habe. Dieser hier ist aus der Kollektion "Don en Daisy".

My card is all green and yellow, very fresh colours that I like very much. I used only few embellishments, because of the strong colours and designs of the paper.

Meine Karte ist ganz in grün und gelb gehalten, sehr frische Farben, die ich sehr gerne mag. Ich habe wegen der starken Farben und der kräftigen Muster nur wenige Embellishments verwendet.

lazy days

Hello dear Copic lovers!

Hallo liebe Copic-Freunde!

It's Kathrin here today sharing a card with you - and this one is all about summer.

Today's the last day of school here in Bavaria, the holidays have finally arrived. And we're so looking forward to it and all the free time ahead of us.

Time to enjoy the summer, have fun with friends or just a lazy day at the sea or a lake where you can enjoy a good book. 

And this idea is it that inspired me to make this card:

Hier ist Kathrin mit einer neuen Karte für Euch - und diesmal dreht sich alles um den Sommer.

Hier in Bayern ist heute endlich der letzte Schultag, die Sommerferien sind da. Und wir alle freuen uns so sehr darauf und all die freie Zeit, die vor uns lieg.

Zeit, den Sommer zu genießen, Spaß mit Freunden zu haben oder einfach lesend einen faulen Tag am Strand oder am See zu verbringen.

Und diese Idee hat mich zu dieser Karte inspieriert:

 

This cute image is by Marianne Design. Unfortunately I was not able to find out the name of this cutie... But I totally love the way she is drawn, you can really feel the relaxing time she has.

The background stamp is by Magnolia and I thought it is the perfect one with this image, giving her a real lake behind her. Can you hear the waves and doves?

Dieses süße Motiv ist von Marianne Design. Leider war ich nicht in der Lage, den Namen dieser Süßen herauszukriegen... Aber ich finde sie einfach wunderbar gezeichnet, man kann direkt spüren, wie sehr sie den Tag genießt.

Der Hintergrund ist ein Stempel von Magnolia und ich fand, er ist perfekt für dieses Motiv. So erhält man eine perfekte kleine Szene. Könnt Ihr die Wellen und die Möwen hören?

I colored the figure first, then added the background and the grass was last.

I added some white glitter on top of a few waves to make them break. The sunbeams have been added with yellow chalk.

 Zuerst habe ich die Figur coloriert, dann den Hintergrund und zuletzt das Gras.

Ich habe ein paar kleine Linien weißen Glitters auf den See gesetzt um den Eindruck brechender Wellen zu erzeugen. Die Sonnenstrahlen sind mit gelber Kreide aufgezeichnet.
