Wedding couple

Rosi here today !

I want to show you today how I colored a beautiful stamp from Lily of the Valley called Wedding Couple. One of my favorite wedding stamps ever!

For the skin i used E21,E11,E04,E00,E0000

Her hair is colored with E53,55,57.

Her dress with E50 and E51 and they are blended with colorless blender.

The roses in her bouquet and her hair are colored with RV91 and RV93and I added a bit of E51.

His hat and suit are colored with the N family N0,1,3,5.

I colored the sky with B00 and B000,blended wit the colorless blender. On the ground I drowned some stones again with the N family N1,3,5

Today I used a stamp fron Lili of the Valley.





I used Perfect Colouring Paper and Memento Ink pad as I stamped my image.

Skin: E000 - E50 - E11 - R11

Cardigan: G20 - G24 - G94
Skirt: V000 - V01 - V04

Flowers: R83 - R85

Wrapping paper: E30 - E33 - E35

Shoes: E70 - E71 - E74

Made yet another card with the same image, just different colours.

Fairy with a gift

Today I, Helen, will show you a stamped image from Lili of the Valley, which is one of my favorite brands.



As always, I stamped my image on some Perfect Colouring Paper, used Memento ink pad.

I started of with the skin and for my first layer I used E000.

Then I went in  with E50 to define some shapes.

E11 for the darkest parts, where my shadows might be, and some R11 for the cheeks.

For her hair I used E41 - E43 - E44.

The first coat for the shoes is E70.

Went on with E79 - E74 - E71 for the shoes.
And the little teddy got E40 - E42 - E43

For her skirt i used BG10 - BG11 - BG23 - BG75
For the teddys nose and feet R11 - R20

For her sweater I used V0000 - V000 - V01 - T1
For her wings: BG70 - BG72, RV0000 - RV02
For her pom poms :Y21 - YR24
For the gift: V0000 - V000 - V01, Y21 - YR24, C00 - C1

For the floor: W1 - W3 -W5
For the wallpaper: V93 V - Blender 0

The wallpaper doesn´t have to be perfect in thickness or space between the lines.
It´s just there to give the eye a hint of what it is.

Little Nurse Graduation

 H e l l o !
Helen here and today I will show you one of my favorite brands of rubber stamps, Lili of the Valley.
 I just love, love, love their designs. They bring out the playfullness in me and my colouring and it feels like it takes no time to color a design. I love to by my rubber stamps used and I´m always looking for LOTV stamps as I collect them.

Today you´ll find the designs as Digi stamps on Etsy and the one I coloured is called Little Nurse.

As always I stamped my design on Perfect Coloring Paper with some Memento Ink.

I often start with the skin, I like to see the character pop and come to life.
My go to for skin is: E000 - R00 - E11 - E50.

In the beginning of a colouring it can be difficult to understand every line in the image, as you can see here, I didn´t colour her left upper arm.

This little fellow is so cute!!
His colour is: W1 - W0 - R00 - R11.

This is one of those time I´ll start with the darker shade, as I did between his eyes to push that area back and to get the nose to stand out.

I wanted her apron to have crispiness, it should look clean and that's why I used blue shades for the shadows and not a cool gray shade.
The shade for the apron and socks is: B0000 - 0 Blender

Her hair colours are: Y000 - W00 - E30 - E42 - W3.

The red shades is: R24 - R35 - R37.
The shadows in the white stripes are: C3 - 0 Blender

The pillow got gray shadows: C00 - C2, and to make it look clean
I went in with some blue as well, used B0000 - 0 Blender

The sticking plasters shades are: E30 - E31 - E33.

Her shoes got the same red shades as the dress, but the grays are: C3 - C5.

The bottle got: BG90 - BG93 - BG96, and the label: E42- E41.

The spoon got:  C0 - C1 - C3, BG93.

The teddys cardigan: BG10 - BG13 - BG11

The shadows on the ground: C0 - C1 - C3

Added some shadows.
The socks: N3
Kerchief and apron: B91
In the dress: T5

To make the characters even come more to life, you might fill in the eyes and the nose of the teddy with a black liner pen. It will give them more intensity. And then you´ll add some highlight in that areas with a white gelly pen as well. But I haven´t done it here.

I really enjoyed to not make a  background colouring this time. To give the design total focus.

Spring flowers

 Hello everyone!

Rosi there!

I'm here today with some spring flowers. I love flowers and that's not a surprise as i am working as a floral designer. I love to make lovely bouquets and arrangmentsas much as i love to color flowers. So i choose to color this image from Lily of the Valley.

The colors i used for the beautiful dafodills are Y11,15,19 and E33 i also added some Yellow reds in the middle of some of them.

YR02,04,07

For the stems and leafs i used G03,46 and YG00

The Primula is colored with 2 color combos.

B60,63,66,69,26

RV91,93,95

In the middle I used Y15,19

I colored the zink cane with cold greys.

C7,5,2,0
