Beginner vs intermediate colouring of a character

Hello everyone! It's Delphine here today :) For today's post, I decided to focus on the colouring of a character, showing 2 levels of colouring at the same time - certainly not to say one is good and the other is not good, but to show what real beginners can try to achieve, what you can do to try and improve your colouring and to show the differences between the two types of colouring. Open your eyes, and analyse ;)

So basically no card here since it is not the point today, but 2 coloured characters. For my tutorial, I used an adorable digi by Vera Lane Studio, a girl from the "I love hedgehogs" digi set.

You can see the colouring process for both characters at the same time below:

Here are the coloured characters, with beginner on the left, and intermediate on the right - and a recap of the Copics I used:

Skin: E000, 00, 11, 15
Hair: 100, W5, 7
Red: R35, 37, 59, W7
Pink: BV00, RV32, 34
White: B000, BV00
Green: G29, YG03, 17

Thanks for stopping by today, have a great day! Hugs,
Delphine xx
