Gnome in Glade

Hi there!

Today it's my, Helen, turn again to show you some colouring.
I've used "You Gnome Me" stamp set from My Favorite Thing Stamps.

I started by making some masked stamping.
As always I used Memento Ink on Perfect Coloring Paper.

I started with the background, the first layer of the sky was BG11.
The grass got: G40 - G43

The tree trunks got BG13.

The skin got: E50 - B20 - E21 - E11 - R02 - W3

 I had to lower the tree trunks by adding in tree tops used BG15 - BG18.
The hat of the mushroom got R05 - R08 - R27 - R37 - R59

Some how I decided to get the gnome a red beard, YR09 - E08 - E19
And I didn´t use one of the colours from the mushroom but it turned out the same...

I wanted him to wear a flannel shirt, and a red one...
R35 - R59 - R37

His pants got W1 - W5 - W3
The foot of the mushroom got E40 - E41 - W1 - W3
The snail got: E41 - W1 - W3 - R00, E84 - E89 - E87 - E49 - E81
The shadow from the snail is T5.

Added some more tree trunks, G12
Grass: YG13

Grass: YG17 - YG 63 - YG67
His hat got the same shades as the pants, W1 - W5 - W3

Some texture to the snail.

The buttons got Y21 - Yr23 - Y28

Added in the squares in the fabric, used B26 and Gelly Roll Dark White.
And the snail got a highlight as well.

Placed a tree in the very front of the picture used RV99.

And as I use to do, I coloured another one.

Skin: E11 - E13 - E21
Beard: B24 - C3 - C5 - C7
Hat and shirt: R35 - R59 - R37 - B26 - Jelly Roll Dark White
Pants: B41 - B45 - B97
Mushroom: R05 - R08 - R27 - R39, E41 - E42 - W3
Snail: E41 - E42 - R00 - E84 - E89 - E87
Grass: G40 - YG03 - YG61 - YG63 - YG67

Background: G40 - G43
Foreground: RV99

 Hi again COPIC lovers!

Last month I did simply patterns and it was a fun coloring so I decide to make one more for this  tutorial. 

Many  markers this time. Not so much blending, just have fun add lovely colors and see what happens on the way!

Step one

I draw some patterns and used copic multiliners 1,00 and 0,5

Then I started with B91. I added B97 as a first layer

Step 2 

Add B01 

Step 3 

Blend with BG02

Step 4

Add more of B01 and blend with BG02 

Step 5 

Add B99

Step 6

Add 79 

Step 7 

Now I use BG09 and B99 and color with them about 5-6 times. Then a lot of  blending  with BG02 after every layer 

I did with B99 and BG09

Step 7 

Add YG01 and FYR1 

Step 8 

Add YG03 and blend with Y00

Step 8

Add R29

Step 9

Blend all over the green and Yellow spots with G02 

Step 10 

I have used a lot of markers and use the markers YOU love 

I have used V04 FRV1 and FBG2 

Step 10 

At the end I added some highlights with a gelé pen sakura 

I did some dots and flowers with the gelé as well

Ice Skating

Hello Copic lovers!

Today is my turn and I would love to get you inspired by using Copic markers!

As I promised no fairies today. I used an image from Tiddly Inks called Ice Skater.

My skin color combo is E0000, E000, E00, E11, E21 and R20 for the cheeks. I always start with E0000 all over the skin. Maybe I should try some other skin combos....

I go over my E11 with E21 in order to darken my shadows. I colour the cheeks with R20.

As this is a winter image I decided to use cold colors - cold greys and blues

For the hair I used C0, 02, 05, 07 and Black, starting with my lightest one and finishing with black.

I colored her dress with B91, 93, 95.

I do love this colour combo a lot.

Again I start with my lightest one B91 and finishing with B95. I brushed the colors on the lightest spots a little with my blender.

 

I added some shadows again with greys. C2 and C0, and blended with colorless blender.
