Janessa

Hello to all copic fans!
Kjersti here, and today I'll show you a card with one of my
favourite Saturated Canary images - Janessa
I have used papers from Inkido, beautiful in brown and blue/green
with butterflies. They decided the colours on her dress.
The sentiment says "Live, Enjoy, Feel"

I really love to colour her, with all the layers and foldings in the dress.

And the Copics I have used:
Skin - E13,E11,E21,E00,E04,E95
Hair - E47,E44,E53,E51,E59,E49
Brown - E79,E77,E74,E71,E70
Green/blue - BG78,BG75,BG72,BG70

Thanks for your visit, hope I have inspired you a bit!
Have a nice week!
Hugs Kjersti:)

A day to remember

Hello everyone!
It's Kathrin here today sharing another creation with you.

I decided to do an "all-occasion" card. And the Parade image by Saturated Canary is just perfect for it.
With the saying I just need to add a date and so I could use it for any occasion I want to congrat someone for reaching a special goal or for a special day.

I went with mainly blues to color the image in.
The blues I choose are from the BG color family. I love the turquoise touch these have.

Here's a close up of the colored image:

I used the same combo of browns that I used for the hair to also color the shoes, chicken and turtle. And I used a more greyish tones of BG for the turtle.

Usually I mat the papers on my cards but I printed the image quite large and so I just did some distressing to the edges.

These are the colors I used for the coloring:

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Cheeks: R00, R20, R22
Hair/Browns: E50, E21, E25, E29, E49 and E23 in addition where I blended the colors like for the shoes
Dress, bow etc: BG0000, BG000, BG01, BG02, BG05, BG07
turtle: BG90, BG93, BG96
greys: C00, C02, C08, 100
shadow: B000

Have a great day everyone!

The tools I also made with the silhouette and put them in the "melting pot" (with embossing powder), to colour I used perfect pearls powder.

 Hair : E29 - YR27 - YR24 - YR21 - YR20
Yellow : Y26 - Y17 - Y15 - Y13 - Y11

Hello dear Copic Lovers,

Wow it's my turn again to make a card for you.
We'r still hoping and waiting on the spring, we have only cold weather
and the news told us that we can also get some snow.
I don't hope that. I'm done with the snow, we want to get the sun.
This morning we had some sun shining bud not for a long time and not for a bikini.
How is the weather in your country?

Ok talked enough back to my card.

Today I have make a special card for you, this card have a secret space, with an envelope.
Here can you hide your special message for a very lovely person.
I use papers from Basic Grey "serenade" I love this line, totally different than what I'm normally chosen. Bud I like those colors.
This image is from Cuddly Buddly and is easy to color because they draw the shadow in the image.

When you look behind the image you will find a special place, With dies from Joy Craft I make hinges.
I fold the enveloppe with a die from Marianne Design.
To hold the image on his place I use an fastner with a brad.

When you open the card you can see the other half of the hinges en with a flower I hide the back side from the brad.
With a Stampin'Up stamp and Punch I make the note.

Copic Markers I use are
Bear: E59 E57 E55 E31
Presents: G46 G43 G40 YR27 YR24 YR21

Let spring brings us flowers

Hello dear all Copic friends,

it’s Cinzia here, back again to share with you a new card I made for Copic Marker Europe blog.
This  time I work on a Sweet Pea Stamp image  called “Cherry blossom” and created by the talented artist Conie Fong. I think that this very beautiful and mysterious lady surrounded by flowers and butterflies express the idea of spring, and most of us are just waiting for it to come…

The papers are from Maia Design and from Magnolia, the dies are Memory Box ”Corner Bow”, Spellbinder “Decorative Labels 8” and the butterflies are from the Cheery Lynn die “ Exotic Butterflies Small”

Here is a close up of the colored image, I used lightest colours in order to highlight the delicacy and transparency of this image:

A close up of some details…

… the butterfly are cut from white cardstock and then coloured with copics in the same way of the stamped butterfly of the image, I add some Stickles “Stardust “ on the body.

And here is a close up of the bottom part.

Jules

Hi Copic Lovers,

Tracy here with a cute little Saturated Canary image called Jules, isn't she a darling.  I don't normally do digi's as my printer doesn't like them and they usually end up with dirty faces, but I printed in draft and the ink didn't run, hooray!

The spellbinders floral oval is one of my recent purchases, just love this die and I have also used the new Marianne Design flower die, in case you didn't spot it, its the daisy style flowers in the grey, I really like it.  You also get a branch in the set and I have cut this out in black and popped a butterfly on it.

Love Builds A Garden

I am a sucker for romance,
and can't resist a decent love story.

That's why I was so thrilled to post a copic project
on Valentine's day.

I choose "Full Heart",
a digital image, made by Mo's digital pencil.

While I was coloring, I looked for a title to use.
Elton John's song "love builds a garden"
was going through my head.
The image reminded me of those lyrics....

" And love builds a garden
Grew it from the ground up
Each one of us knowing
Every inch of it was us
We pulled it all together
Hoping and believing
That love built this garden
For the two of us to dream in "

I hope you don't mind
when I get a little corny,
as I dedicated today's post
to my own private cogardener.
