Love You Slow Much Card

Good Morning everyone!
this is Sarit this time with some coloring .

when I saw this cute stamp, I just knew that i have to get it.
I don't know how you choose a stamp, but when I want to spoil myself with a new stamp, (and it happened almost everyday. Am I addicted? naaaa) I look at  a stamp to see if I can use it for birthday, cheer-up, or any other occasion.

This tine I choose Love You Slow Much from Wee Stamps. isn't it cute?

Starting to color......... but what colors should I choose?                                             This is a big challenge for me almost every time.
The best thing about coloring is that you can color the same stamp over and over
and each time it will look differently.

My focus point is the snail so I started with him.

I choose one of my favorite way to pickup color. I ask my little daughter to choose for me the Color family , its a real fun !!!!

like the hair..... pink wasn't my first choice of coloring hair.

sometimes we tend to choose the same colors over and over again and we afraid to color with other colors. this way I have the opportunity to use colors that I use less

to give the shell more dimension I cover it with Dimensional glase. (you can see the shine?)

Happy Birthday to you !!

Hello everyone! Here is Sandra and today I post my latest project for Copic Marker Europe blog.
I want to thank you all great ladies , we  shared a wonderful experience that I will remember forever. Thank you very much!

The stamp I used is "Rebel" of The Paper Shelter , and for coloring I chose the color families I love most of all.
So I go with BG and YR  families I colored this rebel girl , that is also  very pretty and nice!!
What do you think? Isn’t she adorable?
Small details such as buttons, zip and belt buckle I  colored  with beautiful Atyou Spica Pens that add brilliant and glamorous touch.
The card is made using Bazzil Coredinations Brights, pattern Safira, Spellbinders dies, EK Success border punch Distress Ink and a  Stampendous clear stamp for sentiment.
Finally I applied to the lenses of the glasses and smile a touch of Glossy Accents.

Thank you for everything

Hi, everyone! Here’s Vili with some new cards.
In Bulgaria every child’s educations begins with kindergarten and continues with primary, secondary, high school and so on. Kindergarten teaches a child how to behave and gives him/her the confidence and strength to keep learning new things, make new friends and work in team.
This is why the very first teachers are the most important in kid’s life. I was asked to make four similar cards for a young lady’s teachers, who played a great role in providing a basis for her education. She and her mother wanted something kind and special, something that says “Thank you for everything”.
So here is what I’ve done:

Simple but glamorous background - Daria Myagkikh

Hi everybody,

Today is my turn to show you something interesting. Hope you'll enjoy it!

What I really love about Copics is opportunity to create something simple BUT very beautiful.

We all know that copic markers is a great instument for coloring images...so last weekend I thought... What about using them with background stamps?!

It was splendid experience to be honest.
I choose one background - stamp it - and then just....meditate with all RV colors that I had :)

The process of creating was easy and relaxing. I stamped background with Momento ink (grey) - took all my RV colors - colored each sell... sometimes mixing two colores - than glued it on grey cardstock - used Ranger stickles to decor cardstock and to add accents. Oh! And one more thing - in the end I outlined several sells with pencil... :)

The key numbers for backgound are:RV0000, RV02, RV04, RV11, RV14, RV21, RV23, RV17, RV 91, RV93

Wishing you a great day and very creative mood!

Life is really simple

Hi everyone, Miranda here again. I recently rediscovered the lovely images by the Emerald Fairy Garden and I seem to use them on a lot of my projects lately...but they are so cute and so much fun to colour them with your Copic Markers.

The background is made with Dylusions ink and Dutch Doobadoo stencils. I used some stamps by Dylusions and Lavinia too. I found the quote on the internet.

For colouring the image I used all my favorite purples and turquoises:
skin: E00, 01, 02, 11, 21
hat and trousers: BG01, 02, 05, 07, 09
wings: BG02,05, FV2, BV 01, 02, 04, 08
toadstool; FBG02, BG02,05, FV2, BV 01, 02, 04, 08

for shadows on the toadstool I blended FBG02 and BV00, 01 and a little C3 to create a little more depth.

have a fabulous day and see you next month

Confirmation card

Hi Copic friends,

Elizabeth here today with some copic inspiraton for you. I made a card for a confirmation, a lovely young woman, using brighter and happier colors than my usual 90's range (with lots of grey in them).

I used my copics to color the purple butterflies in the same color as the dress. The papers are by Maja Design and some scrap-papers. I used Martha Stewart punches and dies by Memory Box and Tim Holtz. Flowers By WOC and sentiments by Norsk Stempelblad AS. Swirl stamps by Stempelglede.

The image is by Saturated Canary- with lots of wavy, lovely hair!
Copic colors used:
Skin: E13-11-21-000, R20 for the cheeks and R20, E93, E04 for the lips.
Hair: E59-57-55-53-51-50.
Dress: V09-06-04-15-12.
Skirt: B00-02-05, W7.
For the dotted background: B00-01, C1, W00.

I used my blender to make the dots on the dress.

Here's the inside of the card. The sentiment on the bottom is actually a money clip.

Hope you like it!
Have fun coloring!

Crafty hugs,

Coloring with red...

Hi there everyone, Åsa here today sharing some tips and tricks.

I guess it´s not only me finding it quite a challenge coloring red.

Here comes some tips on what to think about.

In coloring, with any medium actually, choosing paper is one of the most important details to consider for a good end result. When coloring with red, it´s even more important!
Softer papers tend to bleed more than denser ones.

You need a good paper, at least 200 g thick, to avoid oversaturating the paper and causing bleeding.
I have used the Perfect Coloring Paper (250 g).

One more thing to think about is being really careful when laying the ink near the lines of your image. Know that reds will travel along the paper fibers quickly.

Here are my image, colored and ready for the red ink.

I always divides the area into smaller sections, and colors a little bit at a time.
I start with my lightest color R35 and marks out my darkest areas.

Then I do the same but with my darkest color R59.
In this way I can see if the shadows doesn´t look ok already in the first step.
If Im not happy with the result I can adjust it easily just because I used the lightest color.

Then I use my middle color R37 and blend out the area a little bit.
Don´t forget to leave space for the lightest highlight.

Then I use the lightest color again R35 and fill out the rest of the spaces.

And then you just do the same to the rest of the skirt.
I usually use a middle color R39 in the end, just to bring the dark areas a little more.
But with red ink, Im always careful NOT to go over the area to many times. Not making it bleed out.

And here are the end result!

And -TA-DA- the finished card.

I have used the following copic:
Skin: E11-21-00-000-R11
Hair: E49-47-44-43-42
Red: R59-39-37-35

I hope you like it!
Big hugs.

Revisit your images

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

Generally, I tend to colour an image just once. What can I say? I'm fickle! I have a few favourites which I may have used a few times, but otherwise, I'm a one time girl.

Last summer, I coloured Sarah, from Make it Crafty, and my goodness, it was a big job. Why? It's not a hugely complicated image, but, oh boy... Sticky Copics! Poor Sarah went into the bin, many times that day, and in the end, I was so frustrated, I stuck different parts of the same image all together, just so I could finish the card. Not a happy experience. And here she is, in all her sticky, stuck together glory:

Sarah has been hidden in a dark place ever since, so, I decided I should colour her again, to see if I could do a better job this time. Here she is:

I am much happier with this version, I have a card I can use at last! It's interesting to see how my colouring has changed in the time since I last coloured Sarah, so I encourage you to do the same. And keep your Copics clean!

Copics Used...
Old Sarah: Skin; E000, E00, E11, E04, R20, Hair; E51; E53, E55, E57, E37, Ground; T0, T1, Blue; B41, B23, B34, B37, Pink; R81, R83, R85
New Sarah: Skin; E000, E00, E11, E70, E71, Hair; E51, E53, E55, E33, Ground; W0, W1, Blue; B000, B41, B45, Pink; RV10, R81, R83, R85

Thanks so much for stopping by... Have a great day.
