Spring Swing

Goodmorning dear fans,

How are you today?
I have a card for you that I have made with a theme shabby chic. I don't make a lot of these cards. Bud I'm happy with the result, do you?

I was started with papers from a paperpad "Classic Elegance" from Melissa Frances.
I color the edges brown with distress ink Walnut stain and make the layers.

The image is from the Paper Shelter, she is colored with Copic Markers
Skin: E000 E00 E01 E11
Hair: E49 E47 E44 E43 E41
Dress: BG18  BG11 T3
Leave: G46 G43 G40
Flowers: R02 R01

I have made the clouds with PanPastel Turquoise and Metallic Silver

In the corners I use Frantage. In the pocket I can put a sentiment, when I know for what occasion I want to use the card.

I hope that I have inspired you

A Bookcard

Hello Copics-Fans!

Here is Diana (DeeDee) again, to show you my inspiration for this day with my Copics.
After a long time I have crafted a book card again. The stamp I chose is the sweet Tilda with Crossnacklace of Magnolia from the Special Moments Collection. I stamped the motive for the first time with Memento Rich Chocca. And I totally love this effect. So it will not be the last time that I stamped with brown. The design papers are all of MajaDesign. Mixed from the Sofiere Collection and the Vintage Spring Basic Collection. Also the Fran-tage don't miss on my card. On the TAG I embossed with Shabby White and then applied the new Fran-tage fragments rose garden. I personally like it very well!

flutter by...

Dear Copic Lovers,

Angie fluttering by... to show you this sweet SOG (Some Odd Girl) Card,
I've created in soft pastel colours.

I chose only dotted papers in 3 different pastell tones for my butterfly dies in 3 sizes. On my computer I just created the sentiment myself to surround the sitting "Chill Kaylee" (Digi-Stamp by SOG). I absolutely love these images and to colour them with my Copic Markers. The images are so impressing that I love to keep the card layouts mostly clean to keep the focus on the image.

For my coloration I've used the Copic Sketch Markers No.:
HAIR - E40 / E41 / E42 / E43 / E44
SKIN - E00 / E11 / E21 / E50 / CHEEKS - R21 / R30
SHIRT - RV000 / RV00 / RV10 / RV11 / RV34
SHORT, SHOES, EYES & RIBBON - BG70 / BG72 / BG75
SOCKS - YG91 / YG93 / YG95
SHADOWING - T1 / T2 / T3

Wish you a wonderfull weekend,
Angie

Elegant Anniversary Card

Hi Everyone,

I have made an anniversary card and wanted to make it very elegant.

I created a gatefold card using the Marianne Desing Anya Edge Border, such a beautiful die. I have added Marianne Designs Ribbon, lace and pearls, some flowers and the leaves from another Marianne Design die.

This is a picture of the inside.  I printed the text onto some printable vellum and attached it over the image.  A better picture can be seen below.

With the vellum over the top it gives a subtle finish.
The image is by Magnolia

I created the silver rings using my grey markers, C9, C8, C7, C6, C5, C4, C3, C2, C1, C0

Here's a picture of the back of the card.  I made a pocket again using the Marianne Design Anja Edge Die, and created a tag from the Magnolia Doohickey Tilda Tag so you can write your personal greeting on so not to spoil the elegant inside of the card.

The butterfly die is also a Marianne Design Creatable, very beautiful.

I hope I have inspired you today and look forward to reading your comments.

Keep calm - eat Chocolate!

Hello, dear Copic fans,
Today, it is my (Barbara) turn again to inspire you to projects with your Copic Markers.
When you read this post, I will be in Hagen at Germany's oldest stamp-fair, the Stempel-Mekka.
I will meet other stampers, shop-owners, participants of my classes  etc., a lot of people I only meet once or twice a year, and I am really looking forward to it.
Of course, I am especially looking forward to meet Diny and Anni there!
Some years ago, we started kind of a swap, giving small selfmade presents to each other. As I am part of several stamper's forums, I need a lot of these presents - actualy, I made 60 of them.
This year, I decided to make my first atcs - Artist Trading Cards.

According to Wikipedia, "Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards baseball cards, or 2 12 by 3 12 inches (64 mm × 89 mm), small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets. The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland. Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or fiber. The cards are usually traded or exchanged. When sold, they are usually referred to as art card editions and originals (ACEOs)."

Some time ago, I had a stamp for the backside made with
my name and blogaddress:

First, I cut pieces of white paper half a centimeter smaller than the atc and stamped the chocolate and the sentiment on it.

Then, I made a mask of the chocolate stamp...

...and sprayed E33 with my Copic-Airbrushsystem on it.

Then I removed the mask and coloured the darker parts with E35.

Now I blended the darker parts with E33.

After that, I used the airbrush again and sprayed E21 on the card.

I used W1 to spray a thin shadow.

Finally, I added a little spray of E25 placing it into the air-grip
with the brush-nip to the front.

To finish the cards, I glued the paper onto the atcs,
filled the stamped atc-text and put them into transparent sleeves.

I used staples to fix a bit of chocolate to the sleeve,
slipped in my card and here we are:

I am really looking forward to the Stempel-Mekka, it is always so much fun!
Big Hugs

A wonderful red combination...

Hi everyone, Åsa here today with some Copic Colouring inspiration.

I often find red as a very hard ink to colour. So I wanted to give you my favourite colour combination.
Though it's a hard colour, I LOVE the effect it gives. It makes the images really pop and be the main focus on the card.

For the card I have used papers from Maja Design and Bilmålarna, together with the beautiful Noor Design Butterfly die. And some roses and leafs in matching colours.

The wonderful image is from Sureya on Deviant Art and is coloured with the following Copics:

Skin: E11-21-00-000-R20
Eyes: E47-44
Hair: E49-47-44-43-42
Shadows: W5-3-1-0

And finally my favourite RED combination:
R59-37-35

Hope you like it.

Big hugs
