Happy Birthday Card

Hi Ladies,

Angie here, with a Happy Birthday Card for you.

I've used this fun Mo Manning Digi-image with a cute boy sitting on his pot.
To make this great colors of the design papers really pop, I've decided to use craft paper for the background and kept the layout quite clean.

To match the colors of the papers
(out of the 6x6 paper pad "Bundle Of Joy" by Echo Park Paper)
I've used following Copic Sketch Markers.

Happy Birthday to whomever it may concern :D

Shop Til You Drop

Morning,

Today I'd like to share with you two CHA stamps coming to Little Darlings Rubber Stamps in a couple of weeks.  I have coloured in pastel tones for a change and created the Paris background to match the little Candibean Shop Til You Drop image, isn't she a darling.   The postcard is from my stash but fitted perfectly with the little Eiffel Tower postage stamp in the corner.

The brickwork was created using mainly the E group of Copics.  I have added a tag and attached some Melissa Frances pink tulle secured with a pearl brad.  The butterfly is my new favourite by Joycraft.

Copics Used:-
Skin E00, E21, E11, E000, R20
Hair E43, E25, E31, E50
Pinks R83, R81, RV10, RV000

It's the Art of living........

Hello dear Copic fans,

Today I have something different for you.
For a while I want to use Copic Markers with mixed media.
Bud how, when you color over a mixed media background you have the chance to ruin the nips. And that wasn't what I want to do.

I start to airbrush a sheet of Stamping linen from Joy Craft.
Using the colors B04 B18 B37 and RV04
With a template and modeling paste I create the spots and color them with Gelatos from Faber Castell and a waterbrush pen.

With black stampin ink I stamped the flowers in the corner.
With blue stampin ink I stamped the bubbles from Magnolia.
With another template I airbrush the leaves in black N10.
You can clean your template easy with an alcohol based hanggel.

The sentiment is stamped with white acrylic paint.
When you use acrylic paint on your stamps, you have to clean them immediately, if you wait till the paint is dry you have to clean very hard and can damage you stamp.

On a other peace of stamping linen I stamped the face and colored with pencils, glue her on a piece blue cardstock and cut it out.
Glue the face with 3d foam tape on the card.

The Copic Markers I used
B04 B18 B37 RV04 N10
I hope that I have inspire you with this card
Thank you for leaving your comment

flip flops for summer

Hello everyone!
This is Kathrin here today sharing a summer-ish creation with you.

I'm sure you've all seen this kind of card before. Actually it isn't a card but a hanger - and I think Flip Flops are one of the things screaming "SUMMER" the loudest.

I used two of the newest Magnolia stamps here to create this summer scene.
And to tease you all a little I am going to tell you that I am doing exactly the same at the moment - sitting on the beach an playing with the sand... ;p

I used the dot technique to color in the sand. Just a plain colored area wouldn't really have given the look of sand, but the few dots added to the background and more added to the shaded areas make it look right to me.
I wanted to keep the beach houses white to avoid a "whole brown colored" image. And with this it's still Tilda keeping the attention.

As decoration I went with a flag garland, some cheesecloth, a star tag, a charm and also a postage stamp - all things that mean summer and beach and vacation to me.

I have used these colors to color the image in:

Skin: E13, E11, E51, E30, E000
Cheeks: R20, R22
Hair: E59, E99, E37, YR27, Y21,Y00
Shirt and bows: R59, R46, R35, R32,R30
Trousers: B99, B45, B41, B000
Houses: C5, C2, C0, W3
Sky: B0000, BG000, B000
Sand: E53, E35, E33, E31, E43, E42

Enjoy the summer everyone!

Pearl the mermaid from Saturated Canary :)

Hello everybody!
Here I'm again from the sunny and hot Italy to post my latest copic's project :)
I've a Saturated Canary from the talented Krista Smith to share today, her name is "Pearl" and she's a wonderful mermaid:

A pic by side: I love how the sun lighted her up:

I created a little scene for her using the "Sandy Sea Floor" from Make it Crafty and some lovely fishes and a seahorse from the Mic underwater collection:

I used the dots tecnique to colour the background, but I missed the airbrush system very much! I think I put out all the B and BG copics I have on my stash!

 Another side view...:

Here is the complete list of Markers I've used:

I hope you liked it :)

Do you want to know a secret?

 Hi there, Copic fans,
I just have to share a secret with you!
Did you know, that Santa is not sitting in his cosy house at the Northpole waiting for Christmas?
NO - he is somewhere where it is warm, drinking beer and having fun! Here is the proof:

While we are starting our production of Christmas cards to have them ready in time, Santa is relying onto his little helpers and is relaxing in the sun - incredible!

The card will be used as a Birthday card for my brother-in-law who has a remarkable resemblance with this image. It is from Make it Crafty, available as digital and as rubber, and supposed to show the Aussie Santa. I can't imagine to celebrate Christmas with the sun burning down!
I am sure, my brother-in-law will recognize the reason for my choice of this image
and as he is a very nice and humourous person, he will like it.

Copics I used:
Skin: E50, E51, E11, E13
Shirt, Shorts: BG53, BG57
(I think, it was the first time I used them, but certainly not the last time!)
Hat, shoes: R24, R27, E47
Shadows: BG0000, BG70, my self-made BG71, W0, W4
Ground: E40, E43

So now, Santa, have a lot of fun, cherish the days and be fit and strong for Christmas!
Big Hugs
